Got the call last night around 4pm. Got in the car with the monkeys at 7:30pm. Arrived in Illinois at 7:00am (yes that is 13 hours of driving...the flights weren't working out), just before he went into surgery. Waiting to hear more, but my access will be sketchy and I don't know when I'm coming back. Just checked Kristen's log. She wrote that her dad is out of surgery and everything went ok. They'll be back at the hospital tomorrow AM to see him. |

I think that with everything you have going on in life... if you've made time for this event (even if it turns out to jsut be a run) then you should do it. It will be a great opportunity to focus on yourself for a little bit, which let's face it, after this event you won't be able to do that for a couple of months!! Now... go for a short run and start psyching yourself up!!! NOW!!! thanks Heather! I'm convinced! and you are right Scott this is not only the only multi sport race I'm registered for - it's the only race I'm registered for after this, things are just too iffy - selling a house, buying a house, getting kids to college, moving half way across the country..............you get the picture I may try and register for some 5k's out here if it works out, but if anything it will have to be last minute most likely |

TinkerBeth 23096 Liverpool, New York | Subject: RE: Nibbs XIX heh - look at this Abby Cadabby is an inquisitive 3-year-old fairy-in-training who has moved to Sesame Street from Fairyside, Queens. The daughter of a Fairy Godmother, she is learning magic but is not quite proficient yet and has a propensity for turning things into pumpkins with her "training wand." She has come from a storybook world and is well-versed in fairytales, as they are a part of her family history. Abby loves to practice her magic and rhyming, but what she finds truly amazing and magical is what she discovers on Sesame Street; such as learning to count and drawing a letter with a crayon. These new things are utterly enchanting to her and she will often say "That's so magic!" In Season 38, Elmo shows Abby the magic of pretending while playing with Abby's pet frog named Prince. While Abby doesn't understand what pretending is, Elmo teaches Abby that pretending can be anything, all she needs is her imagination |

I think we will probably have to do a Halloween challenge again this year... what do you think? To be honest I really had nothing to do with it.. you were the one who overcame injury, stuck at it through the challenges, worked yourself hard and came out the other side as tinkerbeth... challenge queen But.. I do think we need a challenge with a bit more inter team rivalry... maybe next month? |
