Yippee, I get to take two yoga classes this week because I was out sick for one of my classes.

I still would love to try out some yoga...

Offthegrid - 2008-10-06 3:28 PM tonight's menu is probably chicken breast with and collard greens with mushrooms, garlic (substitute because we're vampires) and olive oil. If I can't do the collard greens, I have leftover spaghetti squash.

How was the spaghetti squash?  That sounded delicious!!!! : )

I took my first yoga class a week ago.  It isn't as easy as it looks....or as relaxing as people say it is! <img align='middle' src='https://beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/images/emoticons/surprise.gif'>

Had chicken brauts for dinner tonight. They were pretty good. Kids didn't like them though. They have no taste! That being said, they ate a ton of carrots tonight! No thanks!

Edited cause it said chicken brats, not brauts!  Undecided

Hello Blood Suckers.,...

Just to let you know you now have a team spreadsheet - I havent got the formulas tidied up yet but its got all the goals I can on record from the initial sign up.

If you could log in here: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pfYL7DR_dx-Da5GdIuXUwag&hl=en

Login: Btchallenge

PWD: challengeforum

And check your goals are correct and you can start logging as soon as you like. Dont worry right now about any issues with the spreadsheet Im going to get them tidied up in the next day... just wanted to make sure everyone had a sheet first!!!

Slugger - 2008-10-06 4:54 PM Thanks for all the thoughts about my interview! They were all much appreciated. It went. I have no idea if it went *well*, but it went. The energy level dropped as the interview wore on, but they were asking the same 11 questions of all the candidates, and I wonder if they weren't a bit bored. I really, really hope I at least score a second interview. The more time passes the worse I think I did. Someone asked me if I thought I didn't do well because I had self-doubt or if I really didn't think it went well - how on earth am I supposed to tell??? I seriously don't know what they were thinking. I think I did the best I could. I asked some good questions (I hope) which showed I was well-prepared and wanted to jump right in to the work. Hopefully that will go in my favor. Now I just sit anxiously and wait....and wait.....and waaaaaaiiiiiiiit............. *tap tap tap tap tap tap tap*

I hope you get called back for a second interview - fingers crossed!!!

Slugger - 2008-10-06 1:58 AM I went for a hike this weekend. I'm debating whether or not to count it for this challenge. I'm pretty far behind in the challenge right now, so maybe I should count it, but the challenge is really for running and I'm already counting my creak-out-of-bed-after-hike walk the next morning.
Nice! I'm going backpacking for 4 days in 2 weeks, and I'm super excited about it. I'm going for 3 days in November as well. One of my life-long goals is to someday through-hike the AT. Bad thing is that it takes about 6 months to do it, but that would be one hell of an adventure.

Sounds great, where will you be backpacking?

Offthegrid - 2008-10-07 2:18 AM I'm trying collard greens as my new veggie of this week. Feeling bold after last week's experiment with regular spinach (as opposed to baby spinach).

Sounds nice - what are they?

joemac3 - 2008-10-07 3:29 AM ya I think I am going to go and get some arm warmers today. I have never minded running or biking in the cold wearing shorts but my arms freeze to death on the bike when its cold

I *heart* my arm warmers. They make cycling SO much more pleasant. I was worried they'd be uncomfortable, but they're great, I can't even feel them.

joemac3 - 2008-10-07 3:33 AM Didn't realize Miley Sirus (I don't know how to spell her last name) was having her sweet 16 at disneyland and they closed the part at 5pm. only people who bought the special tickets were aloud in.

Hey I saw that on the news. Except her birthday isn't until Nov 23rd. Whats with that????

Chicken & avocado is THE BEST! Especially if you add some sun-dried tomatoes and sliced black olives. VERY mediterranean. I can't believe you haven't tried that combination!
