Night Mel! Well you can't do any worse than I did with the original pie...the one that left an entire house hazy from the smoke. It actually wasn't my pie at all, but the pie was in the oven when the smoke started pouring out...and Dave was left to take the blame. |

The folks that live there are wonderful, but Mary speaks without thinking and often comes across as very harsh and disproving. I definitely don't envy the position I left him in. By the time I came by the next day to make amends with Mary she was back in good humor. Mary and Vic had arrived home late that night from spending a weekend on their Island property to enter a house that still smelled strongly of smoke. eek! |
