Ice... and if you have compression tights they are good too...
I did both last night. I few hours after my run I could feel the knee start to tighten up and I pretty much knew what was going on. I think it really helped keep it under control this time around.

You can always go outside and NOT workout!
Well, I spent last week in Germany and didn't work out much and had a really good race on Sunday. So I suppose being well rested can't hurt again.

Last year it happened june 3, this year June 2. I'm marking my calendar for next year to remind myself not to run the first week of june. There must be some bad alignment of stars and planets or something.

I am. The last 2 days I had woken right before the alarm went off and was feeling really good. Today, not so much. I really wanted to roll back over.
I did roll back over! I woke up at 5:30 but didn't get up until 6:37. I missed my nice quiet time before the kids get up but I just couldn't pry my eyes open.
