Subject: RE: The Ghoulies are STILL doing Ironman distances this month!!!Hey Team, Feeling pretty beat right now... Did a 20k bike this morning just to get more miles in...before my clinical exam--4 7min stations...cardiac, pulmonary, diabetic foot and communication stations...didn't really finish any of the stations...need to pick up my pace a bit..I was spending too much time explaining what I was doing. So next time I'll just do it rather than explain so much detail about what I'm doing...Did fine though...All my markers said they were confident I knew how to do what I missed (only about 2-3 little things on each physical exam ) but I just ran out of time... (note to self--just do the exam rather than explaining why I am doing every little thing ) Then had an afternoon session...we watched a movie...it ended up stopping not even half way through..some IT problems they couldn't figure out. Its called "And the band played on"..about the discovery of the HIV outbreaks across the world...I think its really good.. (lots of random stars in it too...alan alda, ian mckellen, angelica huston..e.tc...I'll have to rent it.. Then I went for a run...5km...Did it pretty quickly..again no watch, so I should get one to pin point my times...I think around 24-25min though? Thats off of counting the number of songs on my ipod. Then I cleaned my car... Now I'm trying to convince myself to get through my research for small group session tomorrow..its not going well...Maybe I'll play a silent role tomorrow since I talked alot on Fri and Mon...? hmmm...Maybe I'll read my creepy novel. By Douglas Preston and Lincon Child...I highly recommend their books..The book I'm reading now kind of stems from a trilogy they wrote together..In the second book called "Dance of Death" I had to stay up till like 2-3am one morning with the lights on and radio on until I got to a part that was less creepy...haha Anyways...I should prob do some work and then go to bed! rrow night! |
