I am not there yet. I leave today but have to detour to Yadkinville (Yes, that is a real place) on the way. I get to meet EPA emergency response there at a site. I won't get to Wilmington until late tonight

It really is. The staff meeting is in the old town along the river. That is where the rest of the crew is staying. I am staying on the beach- just because. That way I get the best of both. The boss wanted to have the meeting in Raleigh or Winston- Salem. BORING. A couple of us lobbied for Wilmington. Yea!

I love exercising on the beach.  Coffee doesn't do anything for me but the beach sure does!

ironannekidd - 2010-10-19 9:17 AM Ghoulies I have often thought that I live in some other planet's Hell. There is never a dull moment in my life, and at times I wish there would be so I could relax for just a few minutes.

My daughter is 7. She is energetic, high strung, and never stops moving. I wish I had her energy. I wish I smiled like she does when she runs.

She has been limping for a month now. 7 year olds should not limp for a month.

I called the podiatrist to see if I could give her my appt next week. My foot hurts, but it breaks my heart to see her busting her a$$ running on the soccer field and limping when she runs.

I told them what her symptoms were and they don't want to wait a week to see her, they got her in today. It may just be a bruise that can't heal because she won't rest it. It could be something else. I can't remember for the life of me if this is the same foot she broke when she was 3.

My husband does IT work at Gettysburg College. He and 1 other guy are covering for the entire IT department this morning while everyone else goes a funeral for the husband of a co-worker. My husband thinks people should be back before he would have to leave to take our daughter to the doctors. I am hoping he can take her since I was off yesterday. He knows what the window is for me to leave here to get to her in time to get her to the doctors.

We shall see what happens today.
