Morning Ghoulies. I am off for a run. Then lots of chores and yardwork and then a housewarming party for my step son and his honey. Should be fun.

Melindy, hope your day goes fast and you don't get achy. You have put in some killer workouts this weekend.

Ann, glad you are feeling better.

Hope the rest of you ghoulies are great!

BTW, Bill says Hi. He will be released soon and will be able to post again after 4/15.

WOWOWOWOW I am slow slow slow. Did my first run on my hilly route. I have added a whole minute PLUS per mile. This new body size is BAD! We have some serious work to do here.

Good morning Ghoulies!

After several days of feeling yucky, I feel better this morning. I have a soccer coach's clinic most of the morning. Then I have a ton of housework to do today since I didn't do any all week. I'm hoping to walk the 4 mile loop though this afternoon.

I hope everyone has a FANTASTIC Saturday!

So glad that you are feeling better!  ENJOY your day!

Oh yes,  Good Morning Ghoulies!  Happy Saturday!

Yesterday DH and I did make it to the car show.  Enjoyed it and then we went out to dinner.  fun afternoon and evening!

Today we have my granddaughter's 1st birthday.  Should be fun and chaotic with several sides of the family there!  We stopped to see her yesterday for a few minutes so that we could have cuddle time on our own with her.  Yesterday was her actual birthday.

I will also walk the dogs today and hopefully get in a jog.... and grocery store...and laundry...you all know how it goes.... LOL

Icky! but I know how it goes. You'll get back to where you were and better in no time, just stick with it and be consistent. I am starting at square one with my training. I just got back from a run. 9 intervals, 4 minutes each with one minute rest. I am pooped! I'm off to shower and weigh myself. I may check back in afterwards (or I may be burying my head in a box of girl scout cookies. We'll see.).

Just got back from a nice walk with DH and the dogs.... we had sunshine!  Yeah!  3.2 miles with a play time in a big field where they could run and chase sticks!  Took about an hour and 20 minutes.  Now off to birthday party after I clean up.

He is fine. I was just being silly. He is wrapped up in work. Tax time is a big time for his job. After then he will be able to have his life back.

LOL    at least you know that we really read your post!   My imagination came up with several different scenarios ...  including something to do with tax time (this year is 4/18) Smile  but the other ones were much more entertaining!

Good morning!

I had about 2 hours of sleep last night. I am not doing much of anything today. I will get on the trainer. I have a new book on tape to listen to to make it not so awful. Still licking my wounded pride from yesterday's run.

Have a good one, all.

Hey guys,

Yesterday was pretty busy. I got to do 2 admission histories and physicals by myself--well more or less....the first physical was a bit rough...the second was better..haha.

The second was a pretty rough situation, which was hard...but my staff came down and broke the bad news, etc. I'm kind of still going over it in my head...which I need to stop doing....and get on with my own day. It just seems a bit callous to me in the moment, but its not right to bring "work" home with me....

Need to go for a run soon and then go study...neuro midterm this week. By the end of today I'll have hit about 13.5hrs of training.

You are wise to learn to leave it at work.  Otherwise it will overwhelm you.

As for your training, all I can say is .... ouch!

Well hello everyone!

I want you all to know that I am a horrible mother. I had to lecture my kids at lunch about their behavior at church, and I don't even go with the. They were apparently pretty bad though.

My daughter lost computer and TV privileges for the day. My son lost video game and computer privileges for the day. To really punish them then I took them to the park and made them play outside. For 2 kids that didn't want to go to the park there was an awful lot of laughing and giggling. It was just too nice of a day to make them stay in their rooms all day.

Plus if they'd have stayed in the house they'd have driven me nuts! Both have settled down considerably. I do believe I wore them out. I may be old, and falling apart, but I do have endurance.

Good morning Ghoulies!

Chaotic morning at my house this morning. Woke up to pouring down rain. My car was outside of the garage. My husband asked if I put my windows up last night. I told him I didn't remember. He got dressed quick and went out and checked. When he came back in he told me to take towels with me when I went to work. My iPod now has water under the screen. I hope it dries out!!!

It was thundering and lightning while I was in the shower, and I'm not so sure we didn't have hail. It woke the kids up, one was in my bed, the other was calling for any parent that heard her to get to her room FAST! It took awhile to get them settled. I never had breakfast. My hair is flat today.

I did have a good night's sleep though, so that's good.

MORNING GHOULIES.

ITS MONDAY!!!!

typical day on tap for me.

heading to my office to hand in paperwork...and have a meeting on paperwork.  that just makes me laugh.

then im off to the Y.  i have a 2 miler to get in, but i may opt to do 1200 in the pool instead.

im still hacking a lung and i didnt get to sleep until after midnight last night.  BAH!

a swim sound much more 'peaceful' than a two mile run.

i have other days to get caught up on my runs this week.

then its off to fill some scripts.  wait for the boys to get home.

homework.dinner and LAX practice.

home.rinse repeat.

HAVE A GOOD ONE GHOULIES.
