Anyone else have this problem? Fall asleep or go slightly numb on the outside? It could be a fitting issue, could be that you are gripping the bars too tight. Do you wear gloves at all? |

| Elite 3494 Renton, Washington | Subject: RE: ADollar79's Group--closed and in the base building phase! My feet get numb. I use those foot warmers and that really, really helps. I went to longer gloves to solve cold hands too and a stop at Starbucks on training runs doesn't hurt. hehe |

| Elite 3494 Renton, Washington | Subject: RE: ADollar79's Group--closed and in the base building phase! I bought winter gloves from REI. They aren't thick like the others. The 1st pair I bought were horribly thick I couldn't feel anything!!  These ones are much thinner but also thermal. Plus the foot warmers really help me because when I'm clipped in and on longer rides it can start to hurt and the warmers stick to your socks and are so comfy. They made my ride longer one time because I wasn't hurting in my feet which usually happens 1st... |

Those would put me right at Chattanooga - I think they make sense. Do this. Take a look at the workouts...the way they are laid out. Think through your preparation for St. A's. Does that plan adequately prepare you? Are the workouts challenging enough or do you think you need more/less? Make the adjustments if you need. |

I think my bike miles look so low because a lot of it was trainer stuff that I don't put the miles into. I was up in Bike Time and Swim Time and slightly down in run time over March (1 mile les running in 25 minutes less time - I suppose that means I got faster somewhere). | |

| Elite 3494 Renton, Washington | Subject: RE: ADollar79's Group--closed and in the base building phase! Alright!!!!!! Good morning. Happy Cinco De Mayo too!
I do have a few questions.
My 1st race is May 26th (Memorial Day) Right now I want to really concentrate on getting more miles in bike and running wise. I feel I swim too much. So longer runs/biking and more bricks. Water is too cold to swim just now but by the end of the month I'll be in the lake.

 Should I?
Another: I might be getting a new bike this weekend. Something from Specialized.  How long does it take to get adjusted to a new bike? I know that sounds silly but I am so used to cycling my tank that I fear cycling something lighter might result in me being disqualified for taking off from the ground or something. hehehe |
