I was running late when I left home on sunday and forgot my swimming trunks and goggles. So tonight I thought I would just use my tri shorts but alas I left them in my DWs car. My bike ride tonight was done in my running shorts and Im really glad I got that Adamo seat it. And yes Beth it is one of those really small motel pools thats why I got a Tether. Don't they sell swim trunks in Grand Coulee? Got any nice boxers you could wear? Actually they dont there lucky to have a hardware store and a safeway, as for the boxers hmmm I might scare the natives. But I do have a couple of long swims this weekend on plan including a long bike ride. I have an hour run for tonight and a 2 hour run on saturday so should hit 100% or better on all my goals by sunday or monday |

Expert 1117 Shalimar, FL | Subject: RE: Cheesecake Lovers I got a run in this morning, so I hit 110%. I'm behind on swimming, but I'll try to get one in this evening in the hotel pool. Otherwise I'll swim every day until the end of this challenge! Shouldn't be a problem to finish up the bike and strength part. Let's go Lovers! |

So my biking is right on track for 110%. I was suppose to drive today but it was so nice out that I plan on that for tomorrow or Friday and then I will get a strength, 1 mile swim, and run my last 6 miles. Might do a sprint Sunday so that will get me over the running hump and I just need to sneak in another swim and strength either Sat/Sun/Mon to wrap that puppy up. First time I will hit my challenge goals in 3 challenges. I have either gotten smarter and gone smaller or just focused and worked it out. I think I would definitely do more running mileage in the future and keep the others right where I set them. Running has definitely fallen off the radar this month. You guys have a great training day. It seems as though summer is finally here in the Great North East! Nicely done!!! and here I thought it was the inspiration and motivation from your team members -
You are, honey, you are!!! I swam this morning even tho I'm way over my goal and took the long way to work today on my bike. I have a bad habit of setting my goals for the challenge and then changing training plans! Glad I've been swimming so much anyway cuz I'm seeing definite improvement -- of course I couldn't get any slower than I was! Dinner tonight w/ BTers and we have so much to celebrate: Stacie is recovering from her near-death experience, IMCdAers are back in town and Trixie is in town before running the Western States 100. Should be lots of good stories. Train hard everyone!!! Can you record the conversation for playback on the internet! I wish I was in town this week - Just think of the stuff you could learn - IM/WS100 people and generally cool Colorado folks having fun (I can say that because I am one ) Have a great dinner! Sorry, can't give you the scoop today -- I didn't get to go to dinner -- worked 12 hours and got out around 9:30 last night . Needless to say I wasn't in much of a hurry to come in today! Leaving shortly for a ride, then track wo tonight. |

Is this a possibility? I was benched for about a week from any impact activities due to cortizone shot for PF; I was hoping to keep up the mileage with elliptical, but the heel was waaaayy too tender. I probably missed out on 20 miles' of running. |

My company started getting one job after another. This class in school has been way more demanding than anticipated. my other job has been requiring me to work longer and longer hours. But I am trying as hard as I can to work out as much as possible. I also wanted to tell everyone that they are doing a great job, and keep it up team! |

I think I quoted myself. LOL! it happens to the best of us! Sometimes I am the only one that agrees with me so I love quoting myself. I told a friend I might wake up Sunday and do a 10-15 mile run and they were like you have too much energy. See I tell myself that I say yeah Man that rocks I will join me so you aren't alone. But alas, I am alone anyways. Why is that? Because you talk to yourself? Went for a lovely little bike ride at lunch. Weather is overcast and breezy. Very nice. Guess I should work, but after working almost 23 hours in the last 2 days (have I already whined about that?) I'm really not in the mood. |

Expert 1694 Illinois | Subject: RE: Cheesecake Lovers wgraves7582 - 2008-06-26 3:13 PM Is that a good thing? I have never been quoted before but I did fake a whole 9th grade english interview assignment and it got published in our newspaper. I about died. The teacher was like why are you acting so strange about having it published? I told her I was nervous because nothing like that had ever happened before. Too funny. It sounds like the storyline for a Brady Bunch episode. I think being the author of a signature line quote is a good thing. |

I still have a copy of it and we always laugh about it when I visit the parents back home. Susan - Do you remember the Sports guys on Channel 7 in the mid 80's? It was all about them and a supposed interview I did with them. its a good thing |
