Makes me wish my kids were still of that age! heh - look at this Abby Cadabby is an inquisitive 3-year-old fairy-in-training who has moved to Sesame Street from Fairyside, Queens. The daughter of a Fairy Godmother, she is learning magic but is not quite proficient yet and has a propensity for turning things into pumpkins with her "training wand." She has come from a storybook world and is well-versed in fairytales, as they are a part of her family history. Abby loves to practice her magic and rhyming, but what she finds truly amazing and magical is what she discovers on Sesame Street; such as learning to count and drawing a letter with a crayon. These new things are utterly enchanting to her and she will often say "That's so magic!" In Season 38, Elmo shows Abby the magic of pretending while playing with Abby's pet frog named Prince. While Abby doesn't understand what pretending is, Elmo teaches Abby that pretending can be anything, all she needs is her imagination |

Lol - that ones actually a bit hard as Im going to have to enforce a tighter ban on disclosing race information within 24 hours of stages being broadcast... then again 'Go Levi', 'Go George' always seems to be popular around here.... Im going to have to go look at laptops this weekend though... I want to have one so i can sit on BT while Im watching again this year Edited by kaqphin 2008-06-10 8:24 PM |

I think treating the race as 'fun' - something you are doing for you in the midst of all that chaos will mean you are able to make the most of the experience no matter how the end up running it... Hi Cat! I'm so glad you're back! It's been lonely without you and, I think you are right - it just scares me a little - you know, now that I'm thinking about it - you are responsible for the fact that I can even consider doing it the October run challenge - yep, that was the beginning - that's actually pretty cool! I think the challenges have helped a lot of people with breakthroughs Aaaw thats sweet - that challenge in particular got a lot of people up and running - nothing like a bit of chaos to force some motivation apprently! I think we will probably have to do a Halloween challenge again this year... what do you think? To be honest I really had nothing to do with it.. you were the one who overcame injury, stuck at it through the challenges, worked yourself hard and came out the other side as tinkerbeth... challenge queen But.. I do think we need a challenge with a bit more inter team rivalry... maybe next month? we ABSOLUTELY need to do a Halloween challenge again - it was awesome! and - i do agree we need more rivalry - hmmmm, now how to make that happen ps thanks! |
