When I was a kid and my mum was sick of cooking she would boil some rice, and then serve it with either pureed strawberries + sugar + cream or cinnamon + sugar + cream! Totally unhealthy but quick and it got us to eat! Plus not a lot of work for mum

That sounds like an excellent plan. I am working tomorrow and I don't have my usual day off on Monday so Sunday will be spent doing food shopping and clothes washing for the week. Fun times!

Well, maybe a little!  Went and had som beers with work peeps tonight.  We are having some major layoffs soon.  Not a fun dynamic at work right now...

we have had 3 layoffs since I started my new job

2 at my old company

oddly enough, I feel more job security in my current position

hehe for a one off event - yeah... Im going to find out about other events happening post the All Womens Race and see if i can kind of keep it together somehow...

Not sure but Im sure I will come up with something! There are a couple of womens races each year (October and February) so it would be doable to run this kind of thing annually...

I'm glad you survived the three!  I've been told that I'm all set.  But, last time half my dept was canned and this time it looks like half again!  Scary stuff!

lots of reasons for that, mostly boring details - but, I feel pretty optimistic

I am 99.99999% certain I wouldn't have survived the 2 at my previous company
