That's an understatement...

I ride with a group some times and definitely go faster when I do.  That said, I still takes a lot of work not to get dropped!

So are you getting ready for Ironman Florida. 

What's on the program today?

I've got a 1 hour run and hopefully 20 minutes of core.

PS.  Mucinex and Steroids are awesome.

4 mile easy run and lay out my game plan for my race on Sunday.

A post work run.  It will be a 3 mile run tonight, as i'm "tapering" for my 1/2 this weekend.  Might add in some stretching today.

Last weeks totals.  Got close to my 25/week total.

The Publix 1/2 marathon in Atlanta this weekend.  

I'm trying really hard to get a head cold before the weekend....I really hope it goes away.

I have completely ignored my bike and I'm sure it's going to beat the crap out of me when I revisit with it! It's times like this when I do not like working 50hrs a week!

I have managed to get some decent discounts from them and am entertaining the idea of some new wheels, but I'm not sure. I know I'm not FOP on the bike, so i'm not sure if it's worthit.

I did try a wheelbuilder wheelcover and it won't fit. I attempted to use one built for someone elses bike, but my derailer would scratch the cover, so it was a no go...

For the price they're charging I'd buy some new HEDS or used Zipps.

Almost all of us baby our race wheels, so its good to buy used.  My HEDs are sitting in some wheel bags and haven't bee touch since September 1st.

Sadly, I've never heard of them and from some of my reading, it's a lower end carbon, so yea, I'm worried. If I'm dropping that much on wheels, I want something that isnt' going to need replacing anytime soon, that works, and shows me gains.

Did 1350 including a 1000 M (1100yd) "TT".  Each winter a guy in the Maryland forum posts a 1000M (1100yd) TT challenge to get people motivated.  Last year I did 1100 yds in 21:40 and tonight I did it in 20:42.  I'm pretty happy with this for two reasons, first I took a minute off my time. Second it was more more a "timed continues swim" instead of a TT.  I wasn't really pushing it and give my race splits from my OLY last year I think I could get down to 20:00 or maybe even in 19:30.  Well... I guess there is only one way to find out!!

 ETA:  The other thing I'm really excited about are my split times.  Very steady : 1:52, 1:53, 1:56, 1:55, 1:57, 1:58, 1:54,1:51, 1:49, 1:50, 1:45

I'd skip the no name stuff. 

If it was my money.  And I wanted new, I'd look at a set of SRAM 80/80 or HED 90 /90 and a disc cover.
