I know.  I wish it was the actual pipes they put in the ground, then it would be no issue...  But it's existing, but VERY close to the new work.

Seems to me it COULD go like this...  The break or weaken the existing connection doing their work.  They come back and charge me, since it's not on the NEW work, just at the connection.

They crack or weaken the NEW connection after the second fix.  A month later, come back and say it's existing pipe and charge me.  They could do that over and over again down the line (hypothetically).

Seems to me, that the system should be intact after they leave and the connections sound.  No, I can see if the leak was a couple feet away, and I know the forces applied during their work most likely didn't cause it.  It would be a coincedence and my dime.  But if it's close to thier work.  And MOST LIKELY (since they were initially concerned about it and vocalized it), then it should be covered.

Sorry, preaching to the choir.  I guess I'm so worked up because I feel like I was just abbused and taken advantage of the first time around and finally got over the "just been butt screwed" feeling.  I'm NOT ready to bend over for another round.

Yep, that was everyone's concern during the first visit.  AND why I accepted to cost up front.  I even had half a hope it DID break and they would replace it.

No that it's been 30 days, can they say they didn't damage it and it's coincedence?  That's my fear.

BTW, I discovered "Words with Friends" (yes, late to the party!) now that I have a new smartphone...

I'm looking for opponents untill my interest declines. 

Warning, I really stink.  My first few attempts have been blowouts and early resignations after I realized that just putting up big words is not always the right answer as I left too many scoring opportunities open.  Big 7 letter work for 7 points but give them 35 points for a 4 letter word. 

No coffee...  at least not since this morning - and coffee usually results in sexxeh talk...

SO, like many of you warned, my stress (which I don't usually do) was for naught.  They came, they saw, and new instantly is was warranty work!  Phew.  They moved up a few points in my book.  Still don't like the company and will never do NEW business with them.  But they (or at least this guy) stood by their original work. 

PHEW!

I know!  I treated mine well and kept it well maintained.  No smoking, drugs, too much drinking...  And still.  I got a lemon from the factory?

As for catching a break...  Let's hope the letter I get from Anthem BCBS says they will cover my costs.  Not holding my breath, but the would be a myrical and a welcome blessing in all this turmoil.

However, let me add, that friends have been good with there support, and my parents have been amazing.  But my amazing wife was been beyond words great.  She just knows this will be ok and isn't getting upset or worried.  Just very supportive and encouraging...

She is amazingly beautiful and sexy and sweet, and just continues to surprise and impress me every day.

I'm going to watch a Flight of the Concords rerun.   Love that show!

I *love* Edith Piaf. I am haunted by her voice.

She lived a hell of a haunting life, too ... grew up in a whorehouse, abandoned by her mother, discovered as a 'talent' because she was a street urchin singing in the streets of Paris for coins, blazed into glory, insane love affairs, her baby daughter died, and she blew out and died young.

Her insane love affairs were the stuff of legend. She had one with a married TdF multiple champ (I forget who) but he said spending 24 hours with her was more tiring than riding a mountain stage. HAHAHAHA

I'm trying to write my race report, but just looking at the pictures gives me waves of nausea and anger (bike crashes were direct result of very bad traffic control which the RDs had been repeatedly warned about since last year and seen for themselves in the week before).

I refused to wear the medal afterward. Looking at it made me sick. My maid fished it out from the bottom of my bag and quietly nailed it up on a shelf.

I thought maybe I'd cool off after a couple of days but I'm pissed-er than ever, also looking at the race results.
