Good morning Ghoulies!

I was BEAT when I went to bed last night. It was a looooooong day.

Did get the supplies to build my kayak rack in our lower shed. I'd like to get it done this week, but with back to school, meet the teacher nights, softball practices, football practices and a scrimmage, not sure if It will get built or not. Maybe next weekend.

I think I found the culpret to my chronic knee tendonitis. I wear a lot of old running shoes around, that are stability shoes, then I have my orthotics in them. I think that may be the problem. After wearing them around on Friday my knee was killing me yesterday. Doing an incredibly steep hike yesterday morning didn't help. When I wear neutral shoes my knee doesn't bother me. I think I'm going to clean out all the stability shoes today and stop wearing them.

I did almost NOTHING yesterday. I just felt run down and tired, so I took the day off.

The only thing I did do was take my kiddos, and 2 nephews back across the fields to the woods between thunderstorms and we cut up some big branches and threw them into the truck to future fire pit firewood. We got back to the house, unloaded, broke/cut them up into usable size pieces, my husband took all the kiddos down to grandma's, and it started to rain again. Pretty good timing.

Other than that I slept. I laid on the heatpad for awhile, for my back. I wrapped the heat pad around my aching knee. I took a long hot bath before bed. It was just a lazy rainy day.

Years ago I took the EMT course. This was mid 90's. I let it expire, but now I'm recertifying. Thankfully I do not have to retake the course, I don't have time for that, I can just take continuing ed credits online. I just completed my first course in about half an hour.

Minimum passing score = 70

Average score = 89

My score = 100

On to the next class.

I didn't do anything much yesterday either, Ann. I did some laundry then had a long massage. I got a tiny bit of yard work done on Saturday and then had KENDRA and hubbie over. We ate dinner, had a bit of wine and talked. It was a nice visit. FWIW, Kendra is organizd, she has her Key West guide book all tabbed and everything!

Good for you for renewing the EMT license, Ann. I am glad you don't have to take the whole course and everything.

That's cool. I have dreams of being organized, but I think I usually spend my organization time grabbing a nap.

I hear you, just before a nap is when I think of being organized.. then .... zzzzzzz!

Organized, me?  Nah, only sometimes.  My office is never organized.  My house is never organized.  Just like to be organized for trips.  Oh, and it was a library book, which I am now going to purchase because I spilled water all over it, LOL.  I guess that must have happened when Isaac hit Key West. 

Had an awesome time visiting with Robin and Hubby on Saturday night.  Before we knew it, it was almost midnight.  Wow, I am looking forward to Key West when no one has to go back home at night.  Robin as an awesome house and a back porch that I covet.

Melissa, smart move on the club fee.  When Hubby traveled all the time, it was well worth it to have admission into the clubs at the airports.  I miss those days, but then again, I don't miss him traveling all the time, just the perks.

Ann, smart move on the shoes.  I had a similar issue, and one the shoes were gone, the problem was mostly gone too.

Took today off to nurse this dang summer cold.  Was going to rest and relax all day, but my darling son called and needed me to drive him his extra set of car keys.  He arrived at his new job today (first day) and proceeded to lock his keys in the car.  LOL.  So after taking him his keys, called hubby and went and had lunch with him and then saw his new office.  Now I'm back home again and going to find a good book to curl up with and read.
