Did any of the parents fall asleep?

giggle.  I had an excuse to get up at my daughter's orientation - brought the 19 month old as a distraction

The men's tent would have been soooo much more interesting, especially earlier in the race. Darn.

After the cold water?

I was thinking more about the particularly yummy fast guys at the beginning, however, good point about the water Lucky for us, Lake Monona is 76 degrees!

I have been dying to do Vineman for awhile - who doesn't want to do an HIM in wine country -

I'm in California so...  don't skip it!  but no real advice, what with me being a first season newbie and at sprint distance only!

We had a momentary lead, but now we're down by 32 posts And I know this because I have no life....

I'm going to write my blog, pry my fingers off this keyboard, stop obsessing about triathlon and do something productive, like watch TV

Fellow post padders, I need your opinion on something. I'm signed up for IMNO 70.3 on April 5 to kick off my season, then was planning Vineman 70.3 on July 19 and I have IMWI on September 13. I'm starting to think Vineman is a little close so I won't be able to "race" it but can certainly still do it. Plus is 3 big travel races just asking for misery?

I have been dying to do Vineman for awhile - who doesn't want to do an HIM in wine country - but can still do Rhode Island 70.3 on July 12 if I decide soon. Still likely can't race this one, but it's close to home and can drive to it.

What would you guys do?

I would be ALL over it if I could get away with it,  but then I am a glutton for punishment.  Also I have heard that at Vineman you can walk almost any part of the swim since it is shallow...sigh....My perfect race.

Vineman is cheaper, right?  That might push me to doing it.  It's only about a week apart, so it shouldn't be that much different.

I didn't get to work out this morning.  I had to take my husband to a doctor's appointment, so that cut into time.  Stupid long day of classes today.

This month is going to do wonders for my post count.

Well, yeah. That's why you're on Team Post Padding.

Of course, as challenge organizer, I get to pad my post count on THREE teams.
