I have placed my goals in my blog. Feel free to take a look and give me any feedback. I REALLY like the first one and the second one. I agree with the arbitrariness(?) of the second set. No control over who else shows up. But a good softish kind of goal, if you are rating yourself against others. None of us like to admit that we do it, but we all do it to some degree. I like the measurability of the third set, but I have been called a left brain sort of person before. The last one is up to you. "Any means necessary" gives a lot of wiggle room. Let us know how it works out.Well, I seriously am not very competitive. lol I know righhhht??? But it's true. But, as it turns out, control or not how you finish does matter since it is a race. So, there ya go. Exactly, but most of us are not at the front of the race. We live vicariously through you! |

I'm in the running for a GoPro camera!!! Which I really want after using my brothers. Plus I mean, really? My 'stache is fantastic!
Aw, sheetz. In logging in I saw an update from a friend ... I think I just got roped into the Yangon Marathon. (Myanmar, never been there either) |

I have placed my goals in my blog. Feel free to take a look and give me any feedback. Uh, openly or in an inspire? I'm quite sure I could help you with the asterisked one ... but in a NSFW way. Ha! Um, I'm not sure how to answer that. Okay, since you didn't, and you did post openly The first two aren't goals, but more like overarching principles as well as yardsticks. They're really important--the most important. But they aren't measurable; rather, they are what you use to evaluate goals and progress. Firmly commit yourself to 2016 Trials. 2020 can be to maximize your performance AT the Trials. (Hey just a random strongly stated opinion from the opinionated jackazz) Also, unless you plan to qualify for something that includes rankings ... (tris, for example) ... like DubSix said, I might reevaluate those. Especially for the "whatif" you decide to enter some top-competitive races. Like, oh, Boston? P.S. Focusing and firming up the goals (this should take 20sec) will help you in creating the concrete paths by which you intend to achieve/progress measurably toward them. Master 9705 Raleigh, NC area | Subject: RE: Yanti & Salty Beyond Ridiculous Manatees PART 6--CLOSED KansasMom - 2012-11-01 6:51 PM I'm double posting this -- hoping for some help/advice: I have a trainer question for you'all. I have 650cc tires. I bought a Cycleops Fluid 2 trainer a year ago, not really thinking about the size of my tires. I'm bending my L bolt out of shape beyond recognition. My husband has had to bend it back into shape three times now. He told me this last time that he won't be able to bend it back again. Does your Cycleops Fluid 2 trainer have a yellow handle in the back? If so, spin the handle to adjust the fly wheel so that the wheel is touching the trainer. Then you can move the handle up and down -- basically opened and closed position. Open to remove your bike and closed to so that your wheel is touching the spindle. So you only use the handle to open/close after the initial adjustment. And yes, it should work on both 700 and 650 wheels. See this video at about 50 seconds. Edited by jmkizer 2012-11-02 1:18 PM |

Aw, sheetz. In logging in I saw an update from a friend ... I think I just got roped into the Yangon Marathon. (Myanmar, never been there either) Now that is freekin' cool! Right, right? Yasha and Yanti do Yangon ... (he's such a sweet cute young piglet) and it's only $48, all proceeds go to charity! I think it will be a blast no matter how badly it's run, how bad the streets are, etc. because the spirit of it feels really good and I'd like to go even if I make it a walkathon. If it's really nutz I'll just do the 10K. Not the world's best training if I decide to go to IMNZ but so be it (Yangon - Jan 27, IMNZ - Mar 2) |

How many pieces are in that puzzle? I must know. The flash kinda ruined it but it really is beautiful. My brother got it for her in Prague. It reminds me of some of the better-illustrated tarot cards I've seen. Mutti is a puzzle FIEND and a Yahtzee RINGER and her illness has affected these not at all. She hands my azz to me EVERY TIME. The puzzle's 1000 only, I expect she'll have it done within a couple of days. She already has the entire border and a bunch of patches of the inside done, on about an hour's work.
