Well, I've finally caught up to real life and managed to get a couple of rides in this week.  I set a 12 stage, 12 hour goal which I hope I can beat although most of those hours will be on the trainer...

Go team go...!!

Today will be a "rest day" stage for me. Will only do 30 minutes easy to keep my TdF going. I have a race on Sunday, and want to keep things easy today.

Tomorrow will be another 30-35 minute stage (preceeded by a short run) and then it will be rest until the race Sunday (Sprint DU 2k-21k-5k)

Hope y'all have a good rolling weekend.

I updated my stuff in the Google spreadsheet (up to yesterday).

One thing: for the % of goal, am I correct to think there is no formula included and we do the math ourselves?

I won't be able to update it until Monday after that.

For the % I just did this in the cell:

=(C6/H6)*100

[I'm just guessing on those cell numbers] and it did the math for me.

Spokes - 2008-07-12 7:53 AM I also had to update my formula to get a total. Not a big deal. Someone should probably check all the cells for our team in the spreadsheet to make sure there's a summing formula in the appropriate columns.

Dont stress - Im going to update it all before I do the weekly updates.... no stress!!!

Its something Ive been intending to do for everyone but with the lack of sleep Im sooo tired I wanted to wait until I had a clear head...

Anyway - just wanted to let you know Im aware of the issue... its across multiple teams

Hi Team - just a quick reminder that Monday July 14th is the LAST day of week one of the challenge.

It would be great if at this time you could make sure your google spreadsheet is up to date with your achieved and GOAL stages and distance/time for the week. (there are currently a few blank spaces on some of the teams)

I will get an interim result up in the forum on Wednesday assuming that whatever is in your team spreadsheet is the results for your team.

I have updated the spreadsheets so they are all calculating goals consistently across the board and as always if you have any questions let me know.

Your team spreadsheet is here: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pfYL7DR_dx-AfW9iwmV5zeA&...

To login to Google Docs:

Username: btchallenge

Password: challengeforum

Hope everyone has had a great first week! Dont forget to keep supporting and inspiring your team mates - make sure you all keep in touch! 2 weeks left! (and feel free to stir up the other teams a bit too)

I don't understand this "cheese" phenomenon.

It started in last years tour challenge... one of the team captains is a wonderful girl sappho96 who found a report on all of the teams in last years tours which among other things related each of the teams to a cheese...

That team (Credit Agricole) then adopted the cheese as their thing for the challenge... its returned this year but if you werent around last year I imagine its a bit confusing...

El Flaco's the one on the right - he's always wearing his white sunglasses.

It's too bad you can't log that time for the TdF Challenge!

Hope we're not making you nervous with our mileage mind games.

Obviously, he has deep inner feelings about his team inept ability to close at the finish. Those silly flat landers, they just can't accept that the tour is won in the mountains...a little climbing anyone?

Morning team.

Got my log updated and all.

Going strong!!! Hope everyone else is keeping on rolling!!

Thus far:

10 stages done (47% of goal)

559 minutes (41% of goal)

Things are going good. I will probably need to get at least two longer rides in the upcoming weekends to reach my volume goal, but the stages goal should be a piece of cake.

I am loving this.

Need to go update the Google spreadsheets.
