Way to go Kelly.  If you end up with extra miles, I'll buy some of them from you!

Good morining, Creepy Crawlies!  Anything exciting planned for the weekend?  It's pretty windy here today and threatening rain.  I'd like to take the bike out, but with that kind of weather I don't know.  Great weather for running though.  I plan to run today and probably tomorrow too.

Just wanted to let the team know there have been a bit of confusion about anyone that joined the challenge late. Mileage for any late entrants will be counted from the beginning of October so goals should be set taking this into account! Thanks Cat

OK CC's, Here's the lowdown,

We've got 13 members on the team (seems poetic, doesn't it).

I scanned everyone's October run totals tonight, (about 8 PM CDT).
We're 7/31 (23%) of the way through the month
8 of us are at/above 23% of our goal, led by Riorio and Irongirl39 at 29% (Way to go!!

That means 5 CC's aren't on track to meet the challenge, and I'm pretty sure that it'll take 100% to not lose.  Losers have to change their avatar for November, and I'd really like to spare the BT community *that* picture of my anatomy.

Next Sunday will be the 14th, so we'll be 45% of the way through the month.  For anyone in the midwest or northeast, the weather's changin', and we don't get bonus points for running in the cold or rain, so let's try to get EVERYONE up to at least 45% (and, ya know, 50% wouldn't be bad) next week!

If you're struggling, let us know.  If you're just not getting it done, we'd hate to have to put you on "injured reserve" (and I have BT friends all over, they can come create the injury if need be ).

Hi there,
I'm new to BT and Kat told me to look around for a team to join, and I came across this one.

FAT CHANCE I"m gonna join this band of losers. Give up now, while you still have some pride left.

I looked at the team spreadsheet and I have to admit I am quite pleased I am near the bottom in terms of % of goal met after week 1.

Why? Means you guys and gals are kicking butt! I am in a building phase and while my % is down, I am actually ahead of schedule in terms of total miles ran so trust me, I'll be there at the end.

Keep up the good work everyone! We'll take names and remember those that were ill-advised to cross into our territory when the time is appropriate.

Its too cold and rainy this weekend.  Make sure y'all stay out of that weather and logging miles.  And treadmills?  Blech!  Take it nice and easy.  You deserve it.  No, really, you do.

Love,

A concerned BTer not in the challenge on a team that might be competing against you.
