Funny you mention IM - my buddy and I are looking for a swimmer to do B2B full relay next year. I told him I commit to a sub 7 bike, he does 2.30 or so mary and we get a swimmer and we should fair alright. Now I just have to justify a TT bike You should ask Kim. She is a swimming fool these days! I'll sherpa for you all. IM good at that! |

I don't really get how it works. Sorry, it's late. So you just commit to how many "stages" you are going to do, and how much time and distance... then hit your target?
21 days of riding. You pick a goal of miles or total time of riding. If you pick time riding then you must ride at least 15 minutes for it to count (bike, trainer, etc.) Example: You ride to work, but it's only 10 minutes to get there, add your return trip from work for a total of 20 minutes of ride time. That qualifies for the 15 minutes of ride time. All miles or time must be logged on your training logs to count. You can set goals for as many miles or time for days you wish to ride (you don't have to ride all 21 days).

Bit of a novice, having done only one sprint but need to up the work rate as my Manatee pod are goading me to up to an Oly. Would like to be in team Sky due to me being a brit and following Cav and Wiggins. Yanti can also kick my butt as required (and often does). If no room i'll settle for Omega Pharma Quickstep cos i like their bikes. |

Dan, there will be a link for a team spreadsheet in the next couple days (after teams are selected). That will be where you input your goals. You will also use the BT training log to log your time or miles.

So please include me and hopefully I'll figure this all out as we go. Maybe I'll even do some TDF research. Right now about all I know about it is that LA won a bunch and now he may get his titles stripped- lol. Shelly I echo this post. I have enjoyed watching the TdF, but really couldn't tell you who is who, or which team they are on...but really want to get my bike mileage up. So count me in!

As for team, my first choice would be sky because I'm pulling for Bradley wiggins to take the yellow after a nasty crash last year.
