High-end cookware and home goods retailer Williams-Sonoma has pulled pressure cookers from their shelves following the Boston Marathon bombing.
Still available through their website. Whew, I was really worried I'd be in Williams-Sonoma looking for a left-handed spatula and suddenly have a flashback and go straight for the knives.

I'm sensing a run on pressure cookers.  I say that somewhat jokingly, but I bet people are picking them up.

Bloomberg Says Interpretation of Constitution Will ‘Have to Change’ After Boston Bombing
http://politicker.com/2013/04/bloomberg-says-post-boston-interpreta...

“The people who are worried about privacy have a legitimate worry,” Mr. Bloomberg said during a press conference in Midtown. “But we live in a complex world where you’re going to have to have a level of security greater than you did back in the olden days, if you will. And our laws and our interpretation of the Constitution, I think, have to change.”

Moonrocket - 2013-04-23 1:01 PM Do clear tri shorts violate the rules?

Not if worn by women.. unless said woman is on a bike and just finished a burrito and a Red Bull.

I tried typing a response but there is no font style or literary maneuvering that will make it allowable on this forum.  Bloomberg is enemy #1 to this country.  If you combine arrogance, ignorance and money you get that guy.

DanielG - 2013-04-22 8:44 AM In the US "do something" does not necessarily have to actually make a difference, only the appearance of doing something is necessary. Lately I've started getting the sneaking suspicion that it's assumed the more people can be harassed, embarrassed and exposed the more the "something" works, whether or not it makes a lick of sense.

Best post I've seen summarizing this issue.  It is not in the US only though.
