I wonder if LP sells out quick then a lot people will fall back on CDA??? In my humble opinion. . .I think we have seen the last of sell out the same day Ironman events. There are more of them now than ever and people are being a little more cautious with their money (me not included). The flip side is it would be nice if they didn't sell out so fast. . give people time to think and plan for them, etc. .. . In addition to the above I think with CDA that it is hard to get to and expensive to get to. I did it this year and it wasn't cheap. Another thing is that this year you are required to give your credit card if you signup onsite and are charge immediately. This stops the spur of the moment signup and people grabbing certificates to signup just in case. In the past you would get a certficate and could signup online several weeks later. If it was a spur of the moment thing when you grabbed the certificate you would back out with no charge by not signing up online. If you want to race CDA signup for it. It was an unbeliveable experience. It was my second IM and it blew the first out of the water. I had a blast. |

No. We're making other plans for next summer and they do NOT include Coeur D'Alene. We had a great time this year, but there are plenty of other places to visit for the first time (like Hawaii). |
