Actually, I've been on BT since May of 2007. That's over a year. And up until like June or so, I only had about half of that. If I remember correctly, there was a period of time where you padded that post count nicely in the original VAMDDCBBTC threads.

Math genius, my a$$.

You should know from my HIM RR that I am not a math genius.  Am still feeling the effects. 

So now it appears as though I am in charge and hosting, IF and only if people are still interested in said book club.

The book, for those who need to be spoon-fed like NL, is "When You Are Engulfed In Flames" by David Sedaris.

I guess we are now having it at my house. That is fine. There will be snacks and alcohol.

I would suggest the following dates: Wednesday, Sept. 24th, or Wednesday, October 1st. Please let me know as to what date works for most people.

Amazon has the Cliffs Notes on back-order until 9/25, so I vote for the 1st.

She passed it over to me...I am handing it off to whomever wants to organize. I do crazy stuff like read books just for the heck of it, so I'm always happy to attend a book club, but it's not a necessity.

No. I was not the one who came up with the idea. It then got transferred to me, but knowing that no one was actually going to READ the book, I decided not to waste my time.

I'll do a book club. I'd rather it be virtual, Skype anyone?, or you the group can come to my place. I want to minimize my 'out of town' driving.

*gasp* I actually do other things, like read and stuff.

I read, too.  Like I just went and read some stuff in CoJ, and I read Comet's post above.

I can print out some of my posts (like this one) and he can read it, and he can discuss.
