Alright I am very late to the show - blame my sister for visiting!

You guys both rock, and I have been zapped before, so I have to side with Slugger here!  She might actually have to rescue me in the White's someday so I pick with infinite wisdom.

Great idea ladies.  Have fun and be zapped!

Plus, you two are going to have a little one-hill road race together next year.

I think you should actually include a separate category for Challenge addiction. Though, I gotta say, I don't see Dee mcuh of anywhere else on the board...

Apparently I didn't post yesterday. Or I did and it went into the ether. Or it fell into one of my holes where the marbles fell out.

Went for a lovely walk today that turned into an hour and a half hike. Since I said I wouldn't count my hikes, I'm lopping an hour of time off. I'm a giver like that. Um, but I'm still ahead. But we aren't checking in until Sunday, so it doesn't matter. Plus, except for about a half hour run tomorrow, I won't get ANY walking or running in this weekend (will be on my bike!), so she has lots of time to catch up and tase me. I wonder how fast my bike goes?

YAY Nikoli Tesla!!! Way cool. I used to live near Niagara Falls, they have a cool statue of him there. There was also this really pretty seriously random statue of him in front of my high school - while he was definitely a cool dude, none of us were quite sure why it was there.

Okay, okay, I'll take it like a big girl. That is, I'm running away while screaming at pitches only dogs can hear! AAAAAIiiiiIiiIIiiiiIIIIiiIIIIIiiiiiiiIIIiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uuuuuuuhhhhhh, yeah, so I plugged in my walk on Sunday as one *minute* instead of one *hour*. So I'm an hour and thirty seconds ahead. Yeah, sorry 'bout that, Dee. But I bet you got all excited there for a minute!

Don't worry, you have lots of opportunity to catch up. There's a rumor going around that I may get momentarily distracted from running.

D001 - 2009-07-03 12:13 PM I thought if I stayed on BT until 2:45 AM, that Slugger would just go to sleep. But noooooooo..... Instead, she posts HER take on the "Slugger vs. Taser" Challenge. No problem, I'll correct any misconceptions now. ( ) 1. Your job is to pick a side. However, keep in mind that I have a taser collection. And several cattle prods. Now, go ahead. Pick a side. Any side. 2. Of course my laugh is Evil. Everything about me is Evil. (See? I've even capitalized it. That's how Evil I am.) 3. The Body Parts Fairy is.... well, she's Evil too. She's also related to TinkerBeth. But that's a story for another day. 4. Unlike Kristen, Erica and a few other BTers, "wine" is not a sufficient distraction for me. Pepperidge Farm Double Chocolate Milanos, on the other hand...... OK, I think everything's cleared up now. We have plenty of room in the "Spectator Stands," so go ahead and grab a seat. We even have free popcorn available for your enjoyment while you, uh, "spectate." Any thoughts on when the first tasering should be administered?

Mmmmm, did someone say wine????

Finally catching up on this thread.  Stoopid vacation and being sick.

Nice running guys!  Keep up the good work!

But go ahead and scream anyway. (Just don't scare my dog, 'cause then I'll really be annoyed.....)

Ha! I was pretty sure I was behind. Not that it truly matters. You do know you're going to be tasered, regardless of the outcome. Right?

Dee Run: 5h 08m 20s - 20.12 Mi

Wait.... I'm two HOURS less than you. But 0.34 miles ahead of you.

So in other words.... I can keep doing the same mileage that I've been doing, but if I do it twice as slow, then I'll be way ahead.

OK. I've got a plan for the 2nd half of the month.

One of those hours isn't counted for the challenge - it was a hike, and I said I wouldn't count hikes, only walk/runs. Hah, I'm just trying to confuse you! Look, Milanos!

And yes, I just looked at my 2008 vs 2009 run totals. In 23+ hours for 2009, I've gotten ~50 miles. I did over 130 miles in 30 hours last fall. I am the very definition of SLACKER!!!

But in the meantime, I'll take those Milanos.
