Hi everyone, it is official May is here!! I am way up here in the nose bleeder section of Idaho. I am 33 mother of two wannabe racers! This was my first year of tri's, but decided to take everyones advice and BREAK A LEG. I guess they did not mean it to really happen. So this is my second challenge, the first one that has anything to do with running. I was just released to walk on a treadmill three days ago. I do not plan to run a race this year, but I would really like to do a bike race or fun ride, just to feel the excitment. Although I just road my road bike for the first time this week, it is scary! GOOD LUCK

I am trying to change my Lucy ICON, in the control panel, but the computer keeps putting the old one there instead of the one I pick. Can anyone help?

once you delete the picture you have to close the browser and reopen and try again, it should be gone.

Hey kids (and grownups)

Another California Girl here- I have a mini tri under my belt and a sprint coming up in June.  It was a bit overwhelming to add up my training plan yards/miles/minutes to enter in for May and see what I'm supposed to accomplish.  I know, piddly sticks compared to Oly, HIM, IM, but I'm me.

I'm another mom-of-two, they add to my workouts with weight in the bike trailer or jogger.  And lighten my load with their cheering. Go Mama!

Hi Jocelyn! Congrats on the ride.

I keep trying to find pictures of hot pro/elite triathletes based in or originally from the West coasts. HOW HARD CAN THAT BE????? We need some inspiration here!

Hi everyone! I'm really excited for this challenge. This is my very first season, and I am one month and five days away from my first sprint event. The problem is getting me on my bike...I am going to try to start commuting to work, but that is a scary thought in downtown Seattle. I need to do something to chip away at those miles!

Good luck to all!

You probably can't get in because it's such a long stupid rant. LOL.  Those are my two brand new nephews. Rory and Ewan born April 4th 2008.  I had to leave them behind in Scotland

Hey all,

I'm Suzanne in Arizona; 45 y.o., married with 2 daughters 10 & 6.  Did my first tri in March (froze my toes off!) and am looking forward to my next one in July.  After having to ask for goal reductions the last two months, I'm going to start out this month with more modest goals that I'll raise if the month goes well:

Bike: 8 hours

Run: 8 hours

Swim: 5 hours

Strength: 8 sessions of my mentor's "Around the World" challenge.

Looking forward to making this month a good one!

welcome...don't worry. everybody's goals are a challenge, hence the name. It's all relative that's what's great about it. We're all here to help each other stretch to their own personal heights.

if you live on the east side of town near dia you can come biking or swimming with us...
