Good job everyone, had to post in the G-C thread where they were saying they were out front with 21% completion...

We are at 34% so I had to correct them.

Keep it up!

Good afternoon Team,

Well I completed Stage #6, did another 1:17.21 so I now have 8.21 hrs or 493 minutes. We are going to kill this. Well gotta go shower ......I stink the dog won't even go near me. That is saying alot from her Hairy Higness.

Have a great day/night everyone,

Chris

PS: Has anyone heard anything from our MIA member-Mmakaryk ??? Do we need to remove from the team or what?? Just wondering what the standard procedure is.

I sent an e-mail to Cat and she said he would be dropped if he didn't post after the first week.

Hope everything is ok with him, he is in the military (I think based on his location) and things can change at a moments notice.

Team,

Stage #3 complete with a 19.8 miler in 1:24:30.  I'll compare it to a mountain stage where you feel like you are climbing all the time.  Tight the whole way.  Will bounce back next ride.

 Go Team Saunier !

I was watching it on TV last night.  I cheered when Riccardo won and my family thought I was nuts.  I want to get a Saunier jersey and wear it all the time.  Okay, that's going a little overboard...

Hi Team - just a quick reminder that Monday July 14th is the LAST day of week one of the challenge.

It would be great if at this time you could make sure your google spreadsheet is up to date with your achieved and GOAL stages and distance/time for the week. (there are currently a few blank spaces on some of the teams)

I will get an interim result up in the forum on Wednesday assuming that whatever is in your team spreadsheet is the results for your team.

I have updated the spreadsheets so they are all calculating goals consistently across the board and as always if you have any questions let me know.

Your team spreadsheet is here: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pfYL7DR_dx-D3_t7ujlLYcA&hl=en

Hope everyone has had a great first week! Dont forget to keep supporting and inspiring your team mates - make sure you all keep in touch! 2 weeks left! (and feel free to stir up the other teams a bit too)

Hey everyone.   I'm good through stage 6.   I got out relatively early this morning before the temperature got up to 90.   There was a pretty stiff north wind that slowed me down in a few places, but it also helped to keep me cool.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.   Good to see Saunier Duval bounce back in the actual race.

Just finished stage 4 for me, 124 minutes.

I'm off to Hawaii tomorrow for my best friend's wedding/vacation, I spoke to the local bike club and they have a brick on Tuesday nights that I might try and join if I can rent a bike while I'm there.  Hopefully I can get a couple of stages in, if not, I'll do them when I get back.  Don't know if I'll have internet access so have a great week everybody!  Looks like we're all right where we should be on the spreadsheet Go Saunier Duval!

I got my longest ride ever in today - 72  miles.  That takes me to 5 stages & 142.53 miles or 57% complete.   Think I'll take a nap now.

Way to go Tam,

In your honor I also rode the farthest I have ever ridden at one time. I just kept thinking about how hard you have been working and just kept pedaling.  So I now have gottne Stage #7 and #8 done and have 14.99 hrs done. I don't know how much % of my goal that is.

Everyone else you all are really doing great.

Got up for a 7am bike ride and had a flat in the driveway.  After an hour I realized I either have a defective replacement tube or I can't change a flat.  I'm leaning towards the defective tube.

Was pissed so I ran.  Off to the bike shop to see if they can inflate it and if they can't I'll be happy knowing that at least I was never going to fix it.

Update : Nice - I had 2 defective tubes, one I tried to use and then the guy at the bike shop who said "they can't both be defective" used the other.  He found out a bunch were bad from his manager.

Where was the Team Saunier support van when I needed it ?  Everything is fixed and I'll try and get my ride in tomorrow AM.

Well Team,

I did Stage #9 yesterday and now have 16.63 hrs or 997.8 minutes. I have one more day to ride until a rest day....come on rest day!! I am really tired this morning and am glad to have the day off from work today. I will be running and riding later this afternoon.

Great work to everyone that got their rides in over the weekend. Even those who had the longest rides ever and those that had mech. issues.  It is amazing to me how everone just gets out there and gets it done. Have a great day!

Chris

Well I have a change in my stats. After a query, about my distance, I looked at my ride distance and time from Sat and I think I forgot to re-set my bike computer that I got the time and distance from. So I have changed it in my log and My new total should be 9 Stages, 74.28 miles and 15.35 hrs or 920.8 minutes. I get so used to just using the bike computer that I rely on it for accuracy. Well it is accurate....if you are not to brain dead to re-set it.    Geesh...it is Monday isn't it

Chris

Ive had a chat to someone else nad he oftne cannpot post for several days - what we will do is leave him in your team list but not include his results in your time average for the time being...

When he returns his totals count again...

Stage 4 complete.  Went for a short ride 46:05 (12.2) miles tonight.  Short is better than none at all.  Going to catch some TDF action in a little bit.

 Go Team Saunier!
