I don't regularly use a peak flow meter.  I think I should.  My peak flow at the appointment was 500 and she said that was good, but I know it's low compared to what I used to get.  I should probably get myself one.

Diagnosis: cold/flu  Can't give me anything for it because I've been sick too long.  I did get out of coming in to work this weekend.   She was joking that she'd write me a note since all the grad students still seem to want to work when they should be resting.

Hi Nibbs

Hola!

I went swimming this morning.  It was wonderful...not a workout, more of a pool play time.  I did a little easy crawl, some stretching, some pike somersaults, and I practiced flip turn approaches and turns...but I didn't push off.  I liked taking some time to just focus on flip-turns.

I also spent a little time just exploring the pool depths...all of 4-5'.

Might as well get Bronze on the new thread before departing.

So, today I had my morning timed out perfectly (for me that is).  745 Dr. for blood work.  830 for weigh in, 930 for Chiro.  So, I get there at 7:40 and around 8:10 I ask what the hold up is since I have an 8:30 appointmen (20 minutes away).  So they superfast draw my blood and I'm out of there 10 minutes later, but already know I'm going to be late.  Make it to the next appt 10 minutes late.  Lucky for me the weigh in ahead of me must be having issues for they didn't even know I got there late, but they did not get to me until about 855.  But, I get a day worth of free food and I'm out of there by 915.  Hit the freeway and get to the chiro at exactly 930.  Guess what?  They are running late also.  Meanwhile I'm starving because of fasting for the bloodwork and I forgot to pack something to eat.  )

Stop at grocery store on the way home and spent 75 minutes in there shopping.  My food budget went right out the window.  Came home and had a slice of pizza for breakfast/lunch at 1245.

kay I just previewed this and have not idea where my colons have disappeared to.  mmmm.  ppps my capital letters are all gone, must be my shift key and both of them are doing the same thing. 

how is the west coast today?  I'm in the middle of rain rain rain  )

okay it's not all the shift that has disappeared cause how else did I get the"I" the quotes and the question mark.  What is going on here. 

It is beautiful-blue sky and lots of sun.  There is still a bit of lingering snow from wednesday night.
