I just finished my very first tri ever (a try-a-tri distance) this morning and somehow managed to win the thing (1st of the women, 4th overall) so I guess now I need to gear up for my first sprint on June 21st! Looking forward to getting in some mileage with everyone over the next 30 days.

Does this mean you'll be changing your avatar to something where you're dripping buckets of sweat and downing a gallon bottle of Gatorade?

Nice to see some old faces and new ones as well.  Tomorrow is June 1st which is my husbands birthday!  Gonna get him some cycling gear.  Shorts, but not lyrca...big no no in his books and some gloves too     We both have the exact same bike but only I have all the "gear".   So that's that.   Will start the 1st of the month with 4 miles I think.  I still need to work out a realistic goal.

Hey everyone,

I'm Alysha and new to BT.  I thought I should jump right in with this challenge, which should be a good way to get back into running (which I haven't done in AGES) albeit slowly.

I checked out the thread for the first time today, and saw that I have a lot of posts to catch up on!

Hey Everyone -
I am the 2nd Stacie on the team. I will go by StacieP or Stacie. I live in Oklahoma and have a goal of 40 miles this month. I took essentially the end of April and May off Bike and Run to concentrate on P90X and then vacation and have been in a slump since getting back from vacation. Tomorrow is day 1 of P90X again and running for the month. I haven't done a tri yet since I lack the vital part of it - I don't know how to swim. I will hopefully be more talkative later in the week because I am using all the free time I have for a certification test for work on Wed morning. I am hoping I pass. Wishing it was over already.

Looks like a great team and I think Team Trifecta is a cool name.

Stacie

Wanted to say hi to everyone on team 3. Team Trifecta?

I'll be starting out my month with...a rest day! I'll need it as my marathon training is just starting to pick up and today's hotter weather has left me a little fried.

Good luck to everyone!

Good Morning team 3... Team Trifecta... The name has bounced around and seems to be working so unless someone poses an objection, I vote for Team Trifecta as out official name!

What say you?

I have some running on my training plan today, but my right leg is ballooned and black thanks to a big hit at a soccer game last night. I think I will still do the run tonight as planned, but it's going to be a slow one. Luckily my goal is minutes and not miles!
