BEAUTIFUL day so took a long lunch to get a little run in.  Might hit up the pool briefly tonight.  Spin before leaving for Texas tomorrow.  Running in TX Saturday (even though there might be SNOW WTF) then maybe some pilates/abs/stretching Sunday.

LOTS of INSANE AMOUNTS of travel coming up, so I may not be logging regularly, but WILL stay peachy.

Nice job everyone!

Peachy little run for me this morning at my PT appointment. Relaxing the rest of the day since tomorrow I get my green racing stem! I'm doing a 10k trail race as part of the North Face Endurance Challenge.

Brisk 3.5 miles @25 degrees! with a happy happy dog and a sublime sunrise.  Not much better than that!!!  Then, some core torture to return to the corporeal.

Awesome weekend, everyone.

Hope everyone is having a peachy weekend! I got my green stem today, a very hilly, very tough, but fun 10k trail race.

Hour on the bike in the basement, grooving with the music and thinking.  Then 1500 at the pool, more thinking.

Anyone else get a disconnect when swimming?  Something about being underwater, away from the terrestrial.  Hit your stride and its automatic--then you can really, really think.  Running and biking dont clear my head like swimming does.  Is it just me?

Biking is work, constantly thinking between the traffic and gearing I think all the time on my bike.

Running clears my head on a good run.  On a bad run it only adds to the frustrations of life.

Swimming, if the pool is empty of water walkers in my lane or kids going in & out getting pool toys can be zen.  The  zen moments happen on occasion, but when they happen they are awesome.

Peachy run this afternoon in the snow.  Well, the streets are clear so I wasn't actually running in the snow, but it's a crisp and pretty winter day!
