Hello my fellow astronauts!
I want to start logging my stuff........can we put in everything we have done since January 1?
And are we going to be split up into two teams?

Put in everything since Jan 1, and welcome. I hear we're supposed to be two teams, but honestly I'm not sure which team I'm on. I've just been logging and not paying attention for now. I figure this sort of challenge will have a pretty high attrition rate, and I bet we'll wind up on one team after TdF madness peters out in the spring.

I started logging from January 1st.  Still waiting to hear about the team situation.

Just separated the list into 2 teams.  Team totals are on the top line.   I also added the 2 new folks.  11 people per team. We should be all set.  Good luck.

I nominate our team (Team 1) to be named Team Armstrong.

I agree, Team 2 definately needs a name. I could go for one of the following.

Apollo 13 - while this mission did not make the moon they did overcome significant challengs to return home.

Apollo 11 - "one small step for man"

Eagle - The Eagle has landed

Gemini - The bridge to the moon

Mercury - America's forray into the space program (not to mention the implied mythological figure)

65 miles to reach space, 200 miles to the space station.  We are on our way.

Hey team 2... sorry I haven't gotten started quite yet-- I've been on vacation, but will be back in town and back to the bike pretty soon... I'm looking forward to this challenge!

OK. I added charts for you....

There's one for Team 1 and one for Team 2. They're to the right of your team totals. They show the percentage of the distance that the team has covered so far. (The numbers 0-100 along the bottom represent percentage.)

ETA: And nope, neither team is "quite there" yet!

Wow, this is going to be hard.  We, team 1, just passed 1 percent with 2500 minutes for this week.  But, to stay on pace to hit the moon by the end of the year, we need to average 2 percent per week.  OUCH!
