Emmanem - 2010-12-01 6:01 PM Group project due tomorrow.  I'm gonna be up all night doing work as it is and we realized we have to run more tests for our project.  One guy who HAS TIME refuses to do it.  He and I have clashed on this project from the start.  He has no respect for women and treats me as if I'm a complete idiot who has no idea what im doing.  My GPA is WAY higher than his and he acts all superior and as if he knows everything.  Half of what he says is wrong to start with and we all have to argue to get him to listen. So now I have to go run these tests tonight so we dont get points off our project because too lazy to do them. I cannot stand people who act like this!!!!!!!!

I will go on record and say that I HATE group assignments. You post this on the morning that I am to research masters programs... I forgot all about Melissa does all of the group work.

Throughout my 4 year degree I can remember 2 great groups where everyone pitched in.

I swam this morning....I detest most backstroke drills, todays were no exception to this.  Seriously single arm backstroke and 10KPS backstroke?  Really?  What sadist made up that set cause it was followed by 24x50 on 1:26??!!  Insane!

Did a strength training video too.

Going to discuss the goals in PT tonight....thinking......(where is Pooh Bear's think, think, think when I need it?)

Yanti, Doyenne of Unpronounceable Illnesses.

Yeah. It's a long recovery, not always linear, sometimes with little revenge spells, and I know that. I need to err on the FAR side of easy does it. Sigh. For you--as you know so well!--and me, that's the most difficult training of all ...

So I suppose I DO have personal health related goals, then, so to speak.

Stayed up way too late doing homework last night.  Got up at 8:47 and left the apartment by 8:55... pretty impressive if I do say so myself haha.  Got a bike session and more pushups and situps planned for after classes.

Heh. You brought tears to my eyes with that one. 'Cause even a kindergartner would get that, and even a centenarian should still be doing it, too.

So you're the first victim. {{{{MELON PRESS}}}}

Okay, anything HUG-RELATED alphabet game ...

pdbman - 2010-12-01 8:35 PM Well, it's time to go home. Either Rhoda got lost or she's doing a really long dreadmill workout. Its been almost two hours and she's still not back yet. Have a fun night people.

hehe, neither...  after the dreadmill I got to read some book and snuggle with the kids.  My favorite part of the day.  They don't even mind when I still smell.  Smile

HEHE, BEST PART OF WORKING FROM HOME IS THE FACT THAT I CAN DO A HARD AS ALL GET OUT LUNCH TIME WORKOUT AND NO ONE SITS NEAR ME TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE SWEATY SMELL.

Working from home i?s great isn't it. No lunch workout for me today. I'm in the office today wearing my suit.?? ???:?(

Shermbelle - 2010-12-01 8:38 PM Run done and it was as nasty as expected. First real snow of the year just happens to wait til we flip the calendar over to Dec.

Good job on the run. I love running in the snow as long as it isn't too windy. If I wasn't in my suit today, I'd go for a ride at lunch. Enough snow has melted off the trail so that it should be ridable (only 3-4 inches in the deep parts). Sadly I won't be able to go for a ride until Monday. Schedule too busy.

I got to the party late! Page 3!!

I even missed the TA.

All that matters is you're here now!  How's the new job going?

Job is... keeping me away from BT!

Other than that things are going well. It's been about 6? weeks or so and I am still learning the ropes. It's exciting and motivating to work for a clinic where there are practitioners who treat patients to the best of their ability. I'm expected to do a great many things, sometimes too many things all at once - so I'm still trying to manage this. It will all fall into place with time though. Hopefully by January I will feel more comfortable and have established some sort of routine.

This weekend is bittersweet. I going to get qualified to do functional abilities testing - great for me expanding my skills and further increases my expertise in the clinic, but no weekend. It's completely worth it in the long run when my missing weekend is a distant memory (the following weekend will do). Laughing

Working weekends isn't fun, especially around Christmas. I'm glad the job is working out though. I'm sure they love you.
