I am down 2lbs in a week. Now 136.2
I cut out alcohol, that stuff adds the calories real quick! Eating a very small dinner 2-3 hours before going to bed. Seems to be helping me.

forgot to enter this -- still at 167. Was able to start run/walk this week. Did 2 min run/1 min walk x 5-- no pain in my knee so I'll keep going with that pattern. Doing a 3-mile run/walk on the 27th--will try to do 3 min run/1 min walk for the 3 miles. It's snowing here and in the teens, supposed to be 5 degrees on Sunday. But, running (even in the snow) is LOTS more fun than walking.

Running 3 days/wk. biking 2 days/wk. trying to lift 2 days/week. Losing NO weight but feel great.
John from Australia's thread has motivated me. I'm going to get serious about diet. exercise is making me feel great but I now believe that the 80% diet thing for weight-loss must be true. I'm gonna get serious. I want to be at 190 for the Austin Capitol 10K Mar 27.

Without a doubt - diet is the greater factor in success for weight loss and body fat - particularly in the shorter term.

Weight is 166. Run on Sunday was great! Snowed some but wasn't too cold or windy. Ran about 2 of the 3 miles--no pain in my knee. Swelled some after, but that's normal for after a workout. Just happy to be running again.

I am down to 133lbs, have 3 lbs to go to goal weight but would really like to get in the 120`s. Have a race Saturday so will see how I feel. I am 5`6

UGH, I'm so jealous! excellent work on being 133.  that's amazing.  I haven't seen the 120's in a really really long time.  I would LOVE to.  

You can, you dont have that much to loose. I started two a day workouts, even if it meant walking just before or after dinner time for 30min added onto my morning training. It helped heaps. Also, no eating after 7pm...thats hard but after one week it got easier. I drink lots of water, no alcohol other than a dry white now and then. Cut out salad dressing and no meat!! Try it, just for a week and see how it goes. Lots of fiber also is a tip.

You can do it!!
