The question of DO I or DON'T I?

A guy in my tri club is sponsoring a series of 3 open water swim races this summer.....first one is May 20, one mid July and last early September......question is, do I sign up for them or not?  Would be 750 meters.....the series is $75...What say you CRUSHERS?

Could someone please come tie me to my chair so I can't get up and go to the vending machine?  My carrots and water are not cutting it.  I want something sweet or salty or just plain good tasting!  But I know that's not the way to weight loss...

I'll be getting some of that later on this evening. Tongue out

Edited to be serious - yes it's the protein you're missing. Throw some cottage cheese in there, or a hb egg, some yogourt, pb, hummus, even shredded cooked chicken or turkey in a baggie eaten cold - always always always have protein with every meal and snack!

Yanti - I walk into the living room today and there's Maggie The Cat splayed out flat on her back in a sunbeam (her usual sleeping position) but with her soccer ball tucked into her arms. Awww ...

So in the spirit of upside-down-pineapple-cats:

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to go on a scavenger hunt around the house to get some protein for tomorrow...  Part of my problem is that my company ate us out of house and home over the weekend.  Things have been so crazy so far that we haven't had a chance to pick up real food.

But I am glad I resisted the vending machine...  Hubby is making me a cheese snack.  I hear the blue cheese, the manchego and other yummys being cut right now!  I have to sample my mothers day cheese, you know...  just to make sure its ok to eat.  Wink

Yeah, that hit the spot...  but now I think I need to hit spin class in the morning.  Assuming I can convince hubby to get up and get him and the kids ready...  on time.  His car in still in the shop and I'm playing his chauffer.  And I'll only have about 15 minutes to de-stink and turn around in the morning.

You get mothers day cheese?! Hmmm, I guess cheese would be a benefit to having kidlets....
