Funny stuff... but, feel free to log for the guys. I'm quickly falling behind this month. On a side note, I'm really looking forward to Sunday. My 10 year old son decided to do his first triathlon (50m OWS, 4 mile bike, and 1 mile run). Since his race starts at 7:30 and mine at 8, I don't think I'm going to be able to see him finish. I just hope he has fun and catches the triathlon bug! |

Good luck to him!!! I am, in fact, "for the boys." Or at least that's where I put it on the challenge sheet. I do like to surround myself with boys, what can I say :D |

Elite 2640 Ontario, Canada | Subject: RE: July Battle of the Sexes I visited the hand specialist today and have been told to continue resting for at least another 10-14 days... Angry because I have a triathlon in that time period and can't bike or swim properly. I was hoping to heal up much sooner than that and I am tired of riding my spinner upright because it causes excessive extension in my low back. I am going to have to withdraw... I know that I can stay and do other goals but I am so peeved about not getting to go to the Bala Falls Tri and not making use of my new bike that I'm just going to take a break from tri training for the moment. Good luck with the challenge team!! *Cross posting to the TdF challenge, sorry for redundancy! |

I found that swimming really helped to restore range-of-motion in my hand. |

I will play it by ear the day before. Who knows, I could go do it without proper training if I'm healed! |

Elite 3913 far northern CA | Subject: RE: July Battle of the Sexes I'm getting ready to do some evening hill climbing on the bike. I'll climb about 750 feet of elevation in 1.5 miles on the road bike. The whole hill is 4.5 miles with an elevation gain of 2100 feet. This hill is my nemesis! It gets easier as I lose the baby fat, though. |
