For those in the program or who have completed the program, I am thinking of starting next week (12/5) and am wondering if I will be able to maintain S/B/R 3x each per week while doing the program?

It depends on how much time and energy you have.  Personally, I couldn't maintain my regular S/B/R training alongside it.  The program has you working out six days/week for 45-75 minutes per day.  The workouts are fairly intense, and I felt the work after they were over.  While I was on the program, I still kept running and biking once per week on the weekends.  This has mixed results for me.  You may have more success by breaking them up - Insanity in the am and S/B/R in the afternoon or vice versa.

Thanks for the insight.  I generally run 4 days during the week at lunch (5-6 miles), long run on the weekend.  Swim and bike at night, with long bike on the weekend.  Was planning on doing Insanity in the morning, and maybe forgoing the weekend Insanity sessions.  It seems like a lot and I do not want to forego my S/B/R, which is why I am asking.  Would be using Insanity to jump start my offseason.

That's one way that I used it - in addition, I had a running injury mid season and substituted some Insanity workouts when I would have been running (surprisingly, the Insanity workouts didn't aggravate my strained calf when running did).  As the season wound down, I launched into the program exclusively to take a break from SBR and maintain fitness and total conditioning.  Now that it's over, my interest in resuming SBR training is renewed - it was just the break I needed - I just hope I didn't lose too much.

I just finished today! Peace out Shaun T! I used it as an off season workout while I traveled for work.  I'll probably keep using it for strength once or twice a week.

It's definitely worth the work. I lost a couple of inches on my waist, butt and now you can actually see my biceps and some of my abs

Keep at it insane peeps!!
