Oh, and I am embarrassed to admit that I am sore from yesterdays swim. I can barely lift my arms. In my defense, the coach had me doing a gazillion laps with paddles. Not sure what I'll get done today. Not another swim, for sure. I'd drown. Doc is going to let me try easy spinning (on the drainer) and see how the hip feels. Boring, but baby steps in the right direction. no pain no gain, right??? take some advil and DONT lift them did you have hip surgery? |

I found out last night that I had to fast before my blood work this morning. So I get my calories in early, no problem. I get up this morning and run 2 miles. Get home. I couldn't eat. Problem. I was feeling lightheaded in the shower, then every time I stood up I'd get dizzy. I got my blood work done, then they took my blood pressure. It was LOW, so I had to sit there for awhile, I had a little bagel to eat while I was sitting. Instead of going to work I decided to come home and take it easy today. I just added some more calories. I might go take a short nap, then I have some school work I need to get done. The semester is over in 2 weeks and I'm behind. could you possibly be low in iron? I used to get dizzy when I was pregnant and the doctor had me on iron tablets to help!? hope you feel better soon. rest is a good thing ~ school can wait a few hours! sweeeeet dreams! |

While I can hardly lift them, it's a good kind of tired. No hip surgery. Was training for NYC and developed a stress fracture in the right hip. Premature old lady bones. My body is not keeping up with my ambitions.
Sorry about the MF'ing thieves. What a hassle. Edited by kcarroll 2011-12-02 12:51 PM |

Hey Bill! Good to see you too. I always miss my time away from the Village along with the fluffiness that results from my absence. Hopefully this little challenge will be enough to keep me on the wagon this time! |

Elite 3144 | Subject: RE: 100 days of Ghoulie Power! I just knocked out another 3 miles at lunch today making this my best running week since I can't remember when. Now I need to keep the momentum going. I've found another few people around here who may be interested in starting a little bit of an unofficial running club, which will help a LOT! Wish me luck on that... |

Champion 14677 | Subject: RE: 100 days of Ghoulie Power! There are MAN Ghoulies in the Village! I did a bunch of yard work today and boy am I sore. Talked the hubbie into sushi and a stroll on Main St of a local small town that is having a Christmas night. Local stores open late, music, etc. Love Seasonal entertainment, especially when it is free. |

I've told my son that if he earms 100% on a math assignment or test, I will take him ice skating the next day, no matter what else is going on. I love to go skating, so I REALLY hope he pulls it off today! |

I finished up my third straight day of "How to talk to morons without getting angry and insulting them" training. Celebrated with a 4 mile run afterward while the sun was still out. Hope everyone's weekend is off to a good start! |

Champion 14677 | Subject: RE: 100 days of Ghoulie Power! Morning Ghoulies. Today, if it goes as planned, should be a Robin Fun Day. Pottery show with a friend I don't get to hang out with much, afternoon run, evening art show with DH in another town, then an annual holiday party at some good friends house till the wee hours of the night. Last nights sushi and main st stroll was nice but dang, what is it with snooty people and being rude? |

I missed out on both my city's Holiday kickoff ceremony and the Children's Hospital's annual Festival of Trees. But, I am finally getting rid of this dang sinus infection, and tonight I did a little bit of core and some light weights. Yay! Tomorrow I'm off to work a 10-plus hour day. I hope to be around on Monday. Hope everyone's weekends are merry and bright. |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: 100 days of Ghoulie Power! Good morning Ghoulies! I got 30 minutes of horseback riding in yesterday. I do believe it counts as a workout because it killed my legs and abs. The farm we were at uses treeless saddles so there is a lot of holding on with your legs and using your core for balance. |
