I can't seem to get myself to the pool. My run and bike are on track but swimming is my worst of the three. I need to be consistant or I'll never be able to swim a mile.

Got a great swim session in today (after taking yesterday off) I worked on three strokes and did a couple of kicking sets too .
Our pool is closed for maintenance after next week so i will be looking to hit my swim goal before that .

Rest day before the big tri but I just got a new Garmin Edge 500 so I have to go for a ride.  Probably only going to do 4 miles, a short run track near the house.

A death in the family has put a chink in my plans. I hope to still finish all my goals, though it will be close.

Sorry I'm late on this. Hope you had a great race!

Roni,

Than you, had a great race, first in age group and finished first in the age group for the series, was actually in second place by 5 points before the race started.  Did 3 lengths further in the swim than ever before, bike was about the same as my best and I got .2 mile further than ever in the run.  Exhausted when I was done but I left it all out there.

That sounds like not just a great race but a fantastic one! Good job.

That should be an optional screen. (I get it sometimes.) Just leave it blank and ignore it.

OK, just logged in without it asking me for that. So you should be able to bypass that section.....

Let us know if you keep having trouble with it.... Another option is that we can add your email address to the spreadsheet, which means you won't need to log in.

It worked now - no screen asking for  a phone number! Now if only I could magically get in a few more swim workouts in my sleep...

I'm giving up on reaching my swim goal, but I will exceed both the bike and run goals. I'll have to do better next month on the swim.

I have to get 11,000 more yards swimming which isn't really in the training schedule but I think I can make it anyway.  I have 77 more miles on the bike which I'm going to be really close on even without going off schedule, and I have just over 10 more miles of running which I should make without really trying.  Wednesday is supposed to be a rest day but I took two days off last week that weren't on the schedule So I guess I'll get an extra swim and an extra bike in.  Should have about 14 bricks for the month which I feel pretty good about.

70.3 or bust!!!

Whoohoo! Impressive schedule...I can't wait until I can post something like that!

Till then, I need to squish in 3 more swims, 2 more runs, and 1 more bike ride...knowing what you'll be fitting in motivates me to get my piddly bit in!

Great job everyone!

I'm feeling like a bit of a sandbagger. When I made my goals for the month they seemed quite challenging, but since then my motivation has kicked in, and I will easily exceed all of my goals this month. Thank you for helping me find my mojo again. Challenges are great for motivation!

Thank you, your comment motivates me to continue and I guess that's what this forum is all about.

As for you, you should feel great about every lap you swim, every mile you run and every pedal you take!

Congrats on not being a couch potato

Found a crowded HOT pool (85F !!) ad got my last workout in . It's set up on 25y with shallow water and Lanes are narrow so it was good triathlon swim practice to be in he tight quarters .
