Jeeze I haven't done Cytogentetics for over 5 years and I still have headhunters emailing me with jobs.  Really I hate that job!!!  You want to pay me 100 K + to do it I might think about it otherwise forget it!

Big Appa - 2012-06-14 7:52 AM Sup skinny Mike, How you be?

Back on the Clyde-side my brother!  Workin' on it though.  Countin' calories.  Tough work staying light without 14+ hours of training/week!

I'm way over the Clyde-side but I'm on my way back down now too.

Peaked at 206 last week.  201.2 this morning.  Goal is sub- 190 by August.  IM weight 12 months ago was 182.  That first 4 was the easy part.  Now comes the fun!

Peaked at 242 and I was 229 this morning. 205 is a good weight for me but I liked being under 200 but for me that takes a lot of work.

Ahhh the Clyde days.  Got all the way up to 225, although 210-215 seemed to be the norm.  Got all the way down to 178, and now carry about 185.

The heat in Houston has a great way of sweating everything out of you.

Hmm really (to the latter)? Numbers equal weight loss, weigh loss is a huge goal for lots of us. And for most of us it takes a degree of obsession to be successful at it. It's very easy to understand to me!

I'm not obsessed but I do use the numbers to see how I am doing. At 205 lbs for me I was feeling good and that is about my natural weight when trining and eating ok. I got down to 197 when I was trining 6 days a week but I wasn't eating enough to keep up my energy. So I just use the numbers to see what and how I am doing. How my clothes fit really is the only thing I really care about and right now they are tight.

yeah but scale numbers don't measure health or appearance...the point of weight loss is to look better...and often you can look much better at the same weight or higher weight or lower weight.  i find weight to be pretty meaningless.

^^this.

When I was 210+, I felt lethargic, and everything hurt.  I typically don't weigh myself.  I know about what I weigh based on how my clothes fit.  Also, I know that if I am training 6 days a week, I have to make sure I eat enough, or I drop too much weight.  Then I have no energy.  I do like how I feel now, but I think the weight is a function of that.  I didn't change my habits, etc to lose weight.  I did it to feel better.  Four years later, so far, so good.

My manager just spent a number of minutes telling me to remove the "Fwd" from the subject line of emails. Really?
I think my facial expression clearly indicated what I was thinking - oops.

Except hotter.  You probably looked kinda cute even though you were frowning with dismay and disgust.

Teejaay - 2012-06-14 10:13 AM Christ on toast, I have a bad headache.  The insomnia is catching up with me!

I find that washing down a few nytol's with some wine or beer usually wipes out insomnia.  Of course, there are always the pictures afterward, and the overwhelming shame.
