Wow, it doesn't feel that long ago... and my butt was safely parked in an enlisted club at the time the President came on TV to tell us. I lived near a military air base when DS started. The HC130s took off for days straight? I had to keep making sure stuff didn't fall off my shelves. |

Today I responded to an overdose and found a person I went all through school with dead from a prescription pills overdose. So sad. 40 years old, addicted to pills and now dead. Makes you appreciate life a little more. |

I had heard a while back he was having marriage problems and was using pills but I didn't expect this from him. So I was caught off guard. I also didn't know where he lived so when I arrived I had no idea until I went into the residence and found his body. |
