Anyone else notice this 'issue' has disappeared like a fart in the wind? It dominated the news for months and then as more became known.....the story died. No longer is the media out claiming Trumps wiretapping tweets were 'baseless' and lacked any 'evidence'.

My suspicion is congress started to realized they were beating on a hornet's nest and it's best to go slowly and cautiously when beating on a hornet's nest.

Yep, the silence speaks volumes. Perhaps the real reason for the loss was a result of a youtube video.. Oh wait, they already used that story too, nvm.

A quick glance at cnn.com reveals that Flynn and Russia are the top headlines today, with the investigation taking up the entire top left corner of the webpage. I think it's still in the news. It's just not in the news that you guys read

The FBI is now admitting that it was an inside job and trying to find the leaker. (cough Seth Rich)

Flynn is more of a side show that they tried to use to justify there being a connection with the Trump campaign.

He was an appointee by Trump that failed the vetting process by lying to Pence and was withdrawn. If he did something illegal, then I'm right there with you.
However, when it comes to the made up story about Russia hacking the DNC and Trump colluding with them, it's a total side show and has nothing to do with it. The media was (repeat was) trying to use it as evidence of Trump and Putin colluding.

Not much on that presumption of innocence thing are ya? :-) Go to jail for what? 3-star general with 33 year of serviced. I just looked him up...ironically he is a democrat!! Guess that was Trumps mistake for nominating a democrat.....

My guess is he is guilty of ethics violations but I've not seen evidence of criminal activity. Some in congress have suggested there 'might be a criminal activity'. Not sure how to interpret that? What did they see that indicates a crime was committed? Why did they say "might be"? At any rate, it should be the FBI investigating him if there was a crime committed, not Congress. Congress should not do criminal investigations.

I saw a meme a while back that was something to the effect of "Well done democrats. Trump nominates one Democrat to the cabinet and you get him tossed out before he's even confirmed" lol
