You don't do that to victims, you do that to suspects.  It's just the way the system has to be. 

I want to be clear.  I don't believe this woman because nothing she has said can be corroborated. I don't believe her because her "witnesses" don't back up her statements. I don't believe her because these accusations were sat on for MONTHS by politicians who wanted to use them to their advantage, in a time that they thought would be an advantage, and she appears to be fine with that.  I don't believe her because she is asking for an FBI investigation.  Go file a Police report in the jurisdiction where you allege the crime has occurred.  That's how you get it investigated by law enforcement.

I believe women when they say they have been sexually assaulted.  I lead investigations that start with that premise.....EVERY TIME.  I know from experience I will be right almost every time if I do that. (knowing that if it is a rare case of not being true, that will always come out during the investigation )  I did that in this case as it unfolded...... I have come to not believe Ms. Ford by what I have read and seen so far. 

Well, the latest allegation, from Julie Swetnick, is a problem. She certainly appears credible. (I would feel better if the weasel Avanetti wasn't her lawyer, but it is what it is)  If she can corroborate her sworn statement, with other witnesses, Kavanaugh is probably finished.  And..... if these allegations prove to be true, rightfully so.

Look at her background and security clearances.  Google her.

the allegation she made is that she was gang raped by him and others while incapacitated form what she believes are drugs they put in her drink.

A lot of it still stinks really bad.

First, the timing is just ridiculous.  There can be NO DOUBT the Dems will do ANYTHING to keep a conservative judge off that bench.  The question I always have when presented with a sexual abuse case is "why in the hell would she/he make that up?"....in this case, that's pretty easily answered.

Second.  The only lawyer you can find is the guy who said he was going to take down the President?  A guy the media genrally refers to as "creepy porn lawyer".......really?  That's no coincidence.

Third.  The Ford allegation was dead in the water.  The exposing allegation got zero traction.  So now we have a third one that is WAY beyond anything else they've tried.  Fishing with bigger bait now to see who they can catch since the others were useless.

So now you have to go back and see what kind of corroboration there is for this one.  If none.....then I would just forego a vote, hand Kavanaugh a robe, apologize for the disgusting play by the Dems, and move on with my life.  If it can be credibly corroborated.....remove Kavanaugh from contention and get to work on the new nomination.

Man, if you really take some time to read her statement it's kind of crazy.  Soooooo.....this gal claims that she was at "numerous parties" after she became aware that boys were spiking drinks and "lining up in the hallway to take their turn with a victim".......and you just keep going to these parties?  To the point where you eventually become a victim of a gang rape??  GetTheForkOuttaHere!!  Name a single person on this planet who would do that......you see this numerous times and what?? You don't tell anyone??  You keep going back??  This is stupid.

If this turns out to be another unsubstantiated allegation like Ford's appears to be it will set women's reporting of sex crimes back 50 years. 

I don't want to see that.....but these knuckleheads on the left really can't see the nose on their face....which is how they lost the Presidential election.

I don't really buy the GOP line that this is all just obstruction. Note that the dems didn't parade out a bunch of sexual assault allegations for Gorsuch. He's a decent, honorable guy, and no one could really dispute that. Kavanaugh, notsomuch, and it's a mess.

It reeks of politics that the GOP needs to sweep all this under the rug so quickly rather than take a few weeks to do a legit investigation. We could wait a year when it was Garland, but we need to vote on this tomorrow? Sure.
