So how does everyone feel after the first week of the new year?

I had a pretty good week getting back into it again. I missed one bike and 2 swim workouts from my plan, but not a bad week at all for getting back into the groove.

Hit my numbers for the week! Then again, I go back to work tomorrow so the real challenge to get my workouts in will begin.

Raced today with the masters. I did OK, I guess for my first meet in 15 years. I even got a 2nd place ribbon for a relay I swam. I don't know how much yardage I did but it counts as swimming. I've exercised Wed,Thurs,Sat and Sunday. I'm please with myself for the week. I'm actually looking forward to next week. However, my 5 year son threw up this morning. I was at the meet and didn't have to clean it up. Yeah!!! However, I hope it doesn't go thru the household. Also, thanks to everyone for the encouragement!!!

Yes, Big Papi does have that affect. In the mornings I typically face north and kneel to pray to both Papi and Brady as they are both GODS!

As for your race schedule, it seems pretty heavy. Have you already registered for IMLP or the other half's?

gatjr33 - 2008-01-09 3:30 PM Registered for LP the day after standing in line in the heat with all of the other battered athletes. I have also registered for Mooseman, Tupperlake and Timberman. I did three of these four races last year. I have never done the Mooseman.

Wow...intense schedule! And here I was thinking one half and one full in a season was alot. But it's all relative. Welcome aboard. I look forward to following your progress and your races this season.
