Where's Dee w/ her new cattle prod? Is this a possibility? I was benched for about a week from any impact activities due to cortizone shot for PF; I was hoping to keep up the mileage with elliptical, but the heel was waaaayy too tender. I probably missed out on 20 miles' of running. I'm here. With my cattle prod. (Look to the left. LOL) Although, my cattle prod isn't needed for this discussion. Hi Anne, I'm sorry to hear about your foot. Based upon what you wrote, I've just lowered your run goal by 20 miles. If it turns out that you still can't run the amount you have planned (for the rest of the month), let me know and we'll discuss another revision. Do not injure yourself just for a challenge! I'd rather revise your goal, than have you risk further injury. Hope you're feeling better soon! - Dee |

Well, you noticed I didn't ask what size Brownie uniform you wore... O.K., this one could get me in trouble... then or now? LOL! Wasn't even thinking the 'now' question...I will now refrain from any further comment...to keep myself innocent and all... Yah riiiiiiiiiiiight! LOL |

TinkerBeth 23096 Liverpool, New York | Subject: RE: Cheesecake Lovers From my blog - it's just easier this way Change in plans - with my life right now comes the need to be flexible and go with the flow Left work in plenty of time to make it to spinning class, not sure what the deal was, but traffic was horrendous! I've been leaving a little later than I left tonight and making it to the gym for almost 5 months now - this was a first anyway, I was too late to make it to spinning class, and the noodle lady class would have been in full swing - I could have gone and done a stationary bike I suppose, but no guarantees that one would be open AND my bike is calling my name from NE thought about running, decided not to - it's hot, I ran last night, and well, I just really didn't want to do 2 long runs in a row soooooooooo, here's the revised forecast Friday: 30 min run when I get home Sat: 2 hr bike ride Sun: 1 hr bike ride - 30 min run Mon: 30 min run - and whatever I need to make 100% in the swim Man, I over estimated when I upped my goals!!!!! It's probably just as well, I have at least 3 loads of laundry in my teeny tiny washer, I need to pack, and I'm a little burned out I vacuumed my apartment - does that count for anything?

But alas, I am alone anyways. Why is that? I think I have just found a new quote for my signature. Is that a good thing? I have never been quoted before but I did fake a whole 9th grade english interview assignment and it got published in our newspaper. I about died. The teacher was like why are you acting so strange about having it published? I told her I was nervous because nothing like that had ever happened before. I still have a copy of it and we always laugh about it when I visit the parents back home. Susan - Do you remember the Sports guys on Channel 7 in the mid 80's? It was all about them and a supposed interview I did with them. Nope, didn't move here til '93. In the 80s I was on the east coast and as we know, CO never makes the news unless we get snowed in. Or the governor says the state is on fire. Not true... remember the boulder that took out I70 in Glenwood Canyon? That made national news. So I guess it's if you get either snowed or rocked in LOL Good point! Highways cratered by falling mountains make Edited by skarl 2008-06-26 9:01 PM |

Even though it rained out my swimmy (for a second day in a row ) it's lovely and cool here! Back to the age thing; I have no problem admitting to having been born in 1962. My mom, however, has kept her age a state secret until this year -- she was born in 1918 and has a rather major birthday coming up in November. It took that milestone and her living in an assisted living community where most of the folks are around her age or even older to get her to admit to her age. (If you do the math, you'd see that by the time I was FINISHED having kids, I still wasn't as old as she was when she had me! Since I'm her only, I help keep her "young"; no-one assumed that she was 44 when she had me.) |

And I put in my Sat. mile at the gravel pond. Fun day so far -- ran into lots of BTers at the pond and rode w/ PetoPrimo a bit too. Now I need to do housework |
