Sharkie - 2009-05-13 6:48 PM Well..  I thought I had hit it out of the ballpark on the interview yesterday..  I just got the call.. I'm "TOO EXPERIENCED" and "TOO ADVANCED" for the position they are looking to fill..  Uh DUDE.. I'm just trying to keep a roof over my family's head and keep food on the table..  Another firm decided to put hiring off until next month..  But two possibilities came up today..  a 5 month contract with Nike and a permanant job with a Software Consulting firm..  So the search goes on.....

that is so stupid in this economy that they would even worry about that crap.. people are looking for jobs and trying to stay employed .. sheesh.. you would think they would want someone with the most experience....

edit... although we just had a guy interview with us for our open Therapist position.. and we aren't going to hire him because we didn't think his personality would blend with the rest of us.. man we are total di*ks

But if you're too qualified, you might end up leaving for a better position as soon as you can find one. That's a hassle for them.

also... "too experienced" could also be code for we don't want to pay what the market says we should... they don't want her to leave nor pay as much as she is worth...

Hi TAN.

My mom started going to a trainer at a gym in her town. $10 says she forms an inappropriate emotional attachment to him...can't wait for that sh*t to hit the fan...

Gross. No, she's not divorced - yet. But she does have a leathery hide from the tanning bed, and wears too much jewelry...

But the trainer DOES have a cliche "trainer" sounding name - Brad :-P

God, sometimes I think about the craziness and think "how is THIS what goes on in my life? This is the sh*t that happens on TV, to other people".
