It's right by the museum campuses, Millenium Park (ice skating rink there too), and a short jaunt to Navy Pier, the Sears Tower, etc. etc. etc. I even have a futon mattress your son can sleep on. I'll just crash at my friend's place. That prolly will save you some coin and force me to clean! Can't afford to take my son and I on a bad-azz vacation  Thinking maybe taking him skiing for the first time; maybe chicago museums; and something else...........argh........any ideas??? Tony!! That's super sweet!! But I couldn't impose like that?! If you don't take Tony up on his offer, let me know....there are some really good deal on hotels doentown....they are all hurting for business. I stayed last weekend at the W for $72 dollars a night? Took my kids to Lincoln Park Zoo and to the Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder....they had a blast! Whole night for four was under a $100??? I also have a couple days off that week and an 8 year old son.....i would love to met up for lunch/dinner...... NR....you're from chi-town? I don't know what the oven grinder is?......but for under $100 sounds awesome! YEs, work downtown (live on the southside) and enjoy getting and being in the city as much as possible.....it is a really great city!!!! There always a something going on....... christmas party at tony's?? I'll get a babysitter for the kiddies!!!! I'm finally getting into the spirit of Christmas. |
