My numbers are in my training log.  Another Half behind me.  Much better than the Memphis 1/2 considering all the hills in Atlanta.  Finished in 2:21:54.  Legs are a bit sore now though.   Paced it much better.  Still much work to do to see the improvement I would like.

The discouraging thing:  One of my friends ran it (there was a group of us), but his longest run to date (and he didn't train all that much) was 6 miles.  He ran a 2:07.

I'll get my race report up tomorrow.

Ran the Atlanta 1/2 today.  Finished in 1:58:38 - PR by 5 minutes and met my sub 2 hour goal!  I'm feeling great so far - feet are a bit sore, and rubbed a couple blisters, but all in all I'm happy.  Left it all out on the course - recorded my highest heart rate today, too!  About to eat a steak dinner and celebrate that it's done!

Congrats to the other runners today - it was a PERFECT day for a long run - temperatures were amazing!

Good job Jen & Jason.  Looks like it was a good day for PRs.  I came in at 1:42:24 and I knocked almost 15 minutes off my PR!  I'll get a report up shortly (they don't have all the numbers up yet) but I can tell you I crushed the back 5k.  Last three splits off my garmin were 7:36, 7:26 and 7:22!!  I'm absolutely ecstatic.

Great job, both of y'all sub 2.  That's awesome.

Corn, knocking off 15 minutes off your PR is awesome.  I need to borrow your training plan.....

Last HM I did was fall of 2009.  I've logged a lot of miles and lost a fair amount of weight since then.

Trying to stay off of my knee and not screw it up worse than it is.  Yesterday was 1500yds of pool work - lots and lots of paddle laps.  Today is 2k in the pool and a pretty easy 45 minute 190w spin in the basement.

Test run tomorrow.

Two things on the docket for this evening: 1) Light run to get the last bit residual soreness, 2) dust off bike for group ride tomorrow!

Screwed it up last week.  Strained patellar tendon - something have to watch out for since it is in 2 pieces now (the middle piece is now my ACL).  It is getting better, but has hampered my running.  It is getting better and better, though.

I didn't get my bike in last night.  I got up early to to do it this morning.  The plan was to do the 6x4' at 20 minute CP.  My right calf cramped up during the fourth set.  By the time I got it in a better mood, my HR had dropped.  So I did my cool down.

30 minute run tonight.

Those 6x4's are just brutal. Sufferfest, but no doubt they make you stronger. My FTP starting climbing quickly while doing that workout. Also, I think it just taught me how to ride hard.

Today is another lunch run. I should've swam this morning, but I was lazy and didn't. I've been ignoring the pool and it's going to catch up to me! I know it will.

However, I have some work that's piling up and lots of late nights lately, so I haven't felt like the morning workouts either.

I'm doing better at PT and they like the way the progress is going. Yet I need to stretch more. And they told me that I'd probably do even better if I quit training until I healed. That's like telling a crack addict that he can't have his hit.... they're crazy!
