It is too pretty to work this morning. The birds are chirping, the sun is up. I smell the flowers in the yard. The windows and doors are all open and it is warm.

sigh. I hear the yard calling to me. and I still have the dratted manual to work through!

Dee.  im sorry to read what step daughter is going through....i know it might not help to say, but better now than 20 years down the line.  at least she'll have the opportunity to start over earlier.  hugs.

Kim.  im with ya on the vacation with BOB.  but Jillian.  no way.  she scares me.  BOB.ive a MAJOR crush on.  

Robin.  darn that manual.  maybe you could read it over whilst swinging in a hammock sipping an ice cold lemonade and listening to the birds chirp.  kill two birds.....

As for me, woke up feeling peevish.

i dont know if im tired or not feeling well or just stressed, but...im just NOT myself today.

im getting the boys off to school and then its off to school for me.

i have two school visits today.  fortunately it worked out so that i could do them back to back.  saves time and a trip to the school.

then i will head to the Y to run.  hopefully that will get out the peeves.

then home for a bit til the boys get home.

and then two clients this afternoon/evening.

then SPRING BREAK STARTS!!!

it will be nice to have a few days home with the boys.

i have a few clients here and there and then the paperwork to do but other than that it should be a relaxing break for ALL of us.

That's it I'm heading south! It is rainy and foggy here today. It is supposed to be near 80 today, but what good is that when it's raining and you're stuck inside?

The problem is being stuck inside while it is pretty! My days off- Friday, Saturday- cold and rainy. Sunday will be filled up with the DHs family (NOT my favorite people) so it doesn't matter what the weather is like. It is a great BIG tease when it is so nice while I am in here with the M

I had that mood on Monday. The DH stayed FAR away and the dog looked worried all day long.

It just isn't right!

wow, Spring Break.  Kids here had spring break 3 weeks ago and are counting down to the last day of school now.  5 weeks of school left. 

Wow, we are so close, yet so far away in the weather.  We have threats of Thunderstorms and it is cloudy and overcast.  The birds are in hiding.

Okay, last nights Easter Egg Hunt Run was fun.  Guess how many eggs I got?  Zero.  I kind of knew that would be the case, since I'm a slow runner.  There were about 90 people there for this event.  The store was mobbed.  Lots of kids running around.  I ran into someone whom I haven't seen in ages.  Her oldest son is my son's age and they had played soccer together for years at the YMCA.  Both boys are turning 27 this year.  Her second oldest son also played soccer with them and he was there last night, along with a passel of younger siblings.  I can't remember if she stopped at 10 kids or what.  Yes, you read that right.  I believe two are adopted and the rest are all natural.  She says that is all she ever wanted to be in life was a mom.  Wow.

Anyway, hubby did find two eggs.  One had candy in it, the other had and IOU.  LOL.  You got nothing for and IOU.  Coach Trey was having a lot of fun planning this whole event.  He is moving the Seattle though at the beginning of next month.  He will be missed.  He introduced us all to Haley who will be taking over.  I hope she knows what she has gotten into.

Kendra. Sorry about the lack of good stuff in the eggs. Fun to run into old comrades though. Your friend sure did mean what she said about being a mom! Whoosh 10 OMG!!!!!

By the way. It is now a whole different day. Rainy, cooler (dropped 10 degrees already) and windy. The birds are hiding here.

It does make me feel all better about this whole MANUAL thing though!

the peevies are almost gone...the run MOST DEFINATELY HELPED.

i think going to bed early tonight will get rid of the rest.  that and a few days 'off' should do the trick.

Cleveland feels more like reality now.

what a crazy year its been running wise.  to go from a base of 6-8 miles and training for half marathons down to not running at all...to working my way back up to a 5k...not sure im ever gonna take a hiatus from running ever again.

its too much work to get back on track.

oi me.

BUT, i stuck it out, and im here.

i couldve quit altogether but i didnt.

im sure it will start to feel good when i run....sometime soon....i hope.

I keep telling myself that it is going to feel good to run.  But I guess, that the running actually sucks and the feeling good part comes afterwards with a feeling of accomplishment.
