Ghoulies HMs and margaritas (Page 30)

Guess that means I need to get off the computer, out of bed and actually start doing something.  LOL

Breakfast before presents? There would have been a mutiny in my house. We didn't even really eat breakfast even though a friend of mine dropped off sticky buns on Monday and all I would have had to do was put them in the oven.

I want to go see The Hobbit. How did they not know it was only the first of 3 movies to come? There's no way they could have fit that entire book into 1 movie. Did you like it?

We had a lovely Christmas and Christmas eve! Christmas eve, we had our family diner. Just the four of us so it was pretty nice to catch up for a change. Then we watched Polar Express and laughed a lot. Christmas morning is always presents, then pancakes or waffles (Jim's specialty). This year was waffles with my daughters home made (collected and everything) Maple syrup. Then lolling about until we went to the Hobbit along with the rest of the world. I was disappointed. The took all the charm out of the story and turned it into just another Lord of the Rings. I'll see the other ones, but not until they are rentable. Today we are going to Greenville, SC to meet up with my sons girlfriend and her family. Hope the weather is okay. It is supposed to be windy and possibly some snow-like stuff. That is after the rain stops. We have had 2 inches of rain since midnight! It started just after we got home last night at about 9:00.

I've been WFH this morning, but I'm going to go in to the office once the sun comes up. How is everyone?

Hi Ghoulies.

We had a wonderful evening last night in downtown Greenville, SC. It is one of the best downtowns I have ever been to. We  had a great time with my sons girlfriend and her family. Ate at a Cajun place and played trivia. Turns out we aren't all that bad... as long as we had all 7 of us playing.

Last night, however, I got a bloody nose and it is still with me. Yuck.

Back to work today.  Small mountain of books waiting in the bookdrop room, but we have them all up and checked in already.  Phones have been busy this morning, and almost 300 items on request by cusotmers.  Will be a busy day.

Get the MRI on my hip at 6pm tonight.  Fingers crossed that they find something I can do something about.

Robin, Greenville is a nice town to visit.  Glad that trivia was fun.  Bummer about the nosebleed.

Ann, I don't know how you fit in everything that you do in your day.  How big is Milo now, btw.

Everything sounds great except for the nose bleed.

I hope you get out of there in time to get your MRI done!

I don't sleep much. Milo is 170 pounds as of about a month ago when I had him at the vets.

Oh, I'll get out of here on time for the MRI.  Luckily books are not life and death and can wait if necessary.  Customers on the other hand can be quite demanding.  So, today is going okay which is good since we are a skeleton crew today.  I'm hoping the volunteers come in and get some of the shelving done for us. 

I sure do hope they find something easily fixable! I will keep my fingers crossed until you hear.

Morning.  Sorry to hear about the cold.  Found out last night that the youngest grandchild has the flu.  They are arriving at my house this afternoon. 

The MRI was on an open machine last night.  Much nicer than the tubes.

Bad news, a friends 43 year old brother did not survive a heart attack on Wednesday.  Sad sad news.  He leaves behind a 8 yr old daughter and a 6 yr old son.  Those poor babies.

And before you all get antsy, I won't know the news on the MRI until January 11th.  Between the holidays, kids and grandkids visiting, moving my dad, etc, that is the earliest that the Dr. and I can get together.

I am now pizzed! I have lost yet another week of my life for being sick. I have things to do. Lots of them would have been FUN!

I am going to have to go to the doc and get this figured out. I never got this many infections before I had the sinus surgery. I don't know what is worse: The migraines I used to get or the constant infections I get now.

That's sucktastic Robin. I hope you get it figured out!
