LOL - looks like it's recipe sharing time - this is also in my blog

I made the yummiest dinner tonight - just had to share the recipie!

---------------------
LOW FAT ALFREDO SAUCE
---------------------

1 tbsp. butter (butter)
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
Pinch nutmeg
3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
3 c. low fat milk
1/2 tsp. pepper
Cooked fettuccine

Melt butter-butter in saucepan over medium heat. Add flour;
cook, stirring, 1 minute. Whisk in milk, salt, pepper and
nutmeg. Bring to a boil, whisking; reduce heat and simmer,
stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Toss with Parmesan
cheese and cooked fettuccine.

I also threw in some diced chicken - it was a hit!

Sounds really good!  I love alfredo sauce, but it's not something I really eat anymore.  Would be great with some shrimp or chicken.

Did ya stay off it today?

I ride a desk at work.  Only got up for lunch and the ladies room.  Iced it when iI got home but I had to clean the kitchen after dinner.  My daughter made it so I felt like I needed to do something.  I had a bag of ice on most of the day at work too.  Elevating it a bit, it isn't as high as it should be, but it's not completely dependant.

In a velcro ankle splint.  No sarcasm intended guys...I spent enough time working in the ER to know how to take care of a strain/sprain

I bet I wouldn't be as fat as I am if I'd clean up my diet
(as I just finished off another KitKat )

Let's see things I could should ax from my diet.... Cola, Chocolate, pizza, hamburgers(though those really are a rare occurance), jelly beans (though I've gone a week now), cookies, ....
Hmm.... maybe I should start small....

Sometimes it;'s the stupid little sprain/strain that take longer to heal properly than the bigger things.    I'll have to play the rest of my week by ear to see how it feels. I don't think I can handle the motion of an elliptical and our gym pool isn't deep enough for aqua jogging.

Just remember not to push it.  Really, the pool isn't even 6 ft deep.  Remember, by the time you get a belt on, you'll be out of the water a little.  I would think that at least 6 ft should get you where you need to be.

I'm thinking about finding a good sports massage therapist to loosen it up, and then yoga classes this winter. This bit of getting old and inflexible SUCKS.

That reminds me, I need to call my therapist.  I still haven't gotten into yoga... I think it's too passive for me... I need loud music and lots of movement....  hmm... could I be ADD?????

Though I must agree... aging sucks!!!!
