I rode almost an hour on the trainer instead. Probably a good call on the not running, even though it means I miss my long run for the week. Bummer. Did they give you a special diet to follow? If so, how long do they think it'll be before you start to feel better? At least you did the trainer though. That's better than sitting on the couch watching TV. I wanted to run this morning too, but my eye is all red and icky. (Not to mention, it hurts.) I don't see anything really wrong with it, but I'm assuming the bug scratched something. If it's not better soon, I'll find a doctor. (It's a new town. I don't have a doctor here yet!) Any chance it's allergies? My eyes get like that a lot. Eye drops help. As far as diet, very low fat. There's a good chance it's not going to get better until I have it removed. It's a matter of managing it as best as I can until surgery. So, low fat diet and not stressing my liver are the ways to go. Which is unfortunate. All the good things have fat in them. Ugh I hear you on all good things having fat in them... except maybe Fruit.... And lollies.... lollies dont have fat... they are just all sugar... not sure if that helps.....

RR is up....3:14:27. PR for the bike and close to my last stand alone 10K run!! Nice job even with the asthma!! I hate asthma problems during the swim. They are scarier than while you are biking or running!! Asthma attacks suck. Period. Sorry to hear you had one during the race. I'm usually OK with swimming. It seems to act up more when I run. Not sure why. (Maybe because I've been swimming longer, so I use the lungs more when I |

The only fruit I'm not supposed to eat is avocado. Too much fat. Most of the candy I like is things like gummy bears and skittles. Not much fat, but lots of sugar. I think my sugar and carb intake is going to go up a lot on this diet. |
