I often wake up during the night and at 5:15 I suddenly realized I left my running shoes in RI!

They were wet so I didn't want to pack them with my other stuff. Then I totally spaced bringing them.

Hello team,
I did my long run today (20km) and also logged my 8km from yesterday. That should help our team a little.
Can you believe that it snowed while I was jogging this morning......winter is almost here.....

That was my last long run before my half mary on Oct 25.

Nice Job Luc!

Dee, you still can't grasp the fact that I <3 being tasered.  It's like putting your tongue on 1000 9v battery leads all at once.  It makes you feel alive, sure in a painful way, but that's half the fun.  The other half of the fun is that it makes my chest hair look like Dr J's afro.

Good morning Reapers!  Great runs this weekend!  I've been non-connected to the world the last few days while out of town.  Was able to some mileage in, but just now able to update the spreadsheet.

My 7yr old has the flu   Looks like I will be working from home today with her.

Good morning E.V.I.L. Running Reapers! I ran 10 miles yesterday as part of a du, and I am right on schedule for the month, but I didn't update the spreadsheet until about 11 last night.

My race yesterday was great! 2nd place in my AG (M50-54), so I got my first hardware. OK, so there were only 4 or 5 in my AG, but still I had a great race and beat the goals I had for myself. I explained to my wife that it's a small race because most people are too intimidated to try it because it's so hilly with over 1000 ft of climbing on the 5 mile run, and over 3000 ft. of climbing on the 29 mile bike. She was still.............unimpressed The best part was the post race food. Beer and chili. Perfect way to end a hard day.

Congrats on the hardware!!!!!  The way I look at it is that hundreds in your AG could have signed up...  Half of winning (or 2nd place) is being there at the start!

Yeah, tasers might tickle but Dee is going to use the cattleprod and put it where the sun don't shine...  She's a giver like that...

Happy Monday morning, evildoers!

It's cool and rainy down here in the land of catfish and fried green tomatoes (well, cool by our standards).

I am taking a brief break from running today and swimming instead. My legs need it. They are shot.

Ouch.

Back to running tomorrow with a hefty 1+ of hill work.

Ouch again.

EVIL mates-  I was away for the weekend - but I ran, on the beach.  Do I get extra points to slogging through the sand?  It was about 1/3 of my run.  Super slow, but what a workout!  I've updated the spreadsheet for those missing miles at last count and am now off for another few miles!
